My heart goes out to all those involved in these losses. I'm a huge fan of beautiful old buildings and am always happy to hear of one being refurbished. I'm sure this is devastating to both Ms. Roberts and Mr. Wilder. The fact that no one was hurt or killed will be their consolation as they decide to rebuild or not.

Same way I feel about Cabin John. Those McMansions burn pretty well.

What a shame to have even more history go up in flames. Let's hope that the town will rebuild something there.

Nora and Bruce have given a lot to Boonsboro, and will no doubt continue to do so. This is a devastating thing that happened, but if anyone can pick themselves up and get back to renovating the hotel, it will be Nora, Bruce, their family and their friends. Wishing all of you love, prayers and best wishes.

holy cow! i used to live across the street yards away from that pizza place in boonsboro. that was a really cool building, but vacant all the time. it was probably a crazy day for the shepherd university commuters too. hope they can keep at least a little part of the remains.

No one but me insurance fraud here? they are also the owners of the Asaros pizza place across the street. That building to was burned in a fire, which resulted in the couple having a brand new renovated pizza place across the street that is better in all aspects. The bill to renovate the hotel would have been a fortune pre-fire the fire cut the work load down ALOT....dunno just saying.

I really miss living in Boonsboro as I grew up there on King Rd and now currently in Arkansas. I hope she rebuilds something there to help Boonsboro. I wish I could come back to see what Boonsboro looks like now. God Bless Nora Roberts and her Husband.

Daily Horoscope for December 3

Aries

It's difficult to know whether you're being realistic or gloomy today, especially when thinking about matters dear to your heart. For instance, you might be concerned about the welfare of a relative and wonder whether you're making mountains out of molehills. Do your best to remain cheerful and positive, not bogged down in nameless fears.
