Does anyone know anything about the wreck on Hwy 45 North Booneville, about the Thrasher exit on 4-lane? It seems that there is livestock involved somehow.

Word on the street, a man hit a horse and died. Pretty sad story. I feel badly for his family.

It was Tim Crowe.

He was on his way to work at Tupelo at approx. 3:30 a.m. when he struck a horse in the road or tried to miss a horse in the road according to the Tupelo news.

Yes he worked for the postal service.

It was very foggy this morning here so I wonder if that played a factor as well. Very sad I knew him prayers to his family.

Hope the horse owner is charged. Tired of people not taking care of their animals.

Now a family is missing a loved one because you built a shitty fence.

I know the owner of the horse personally and he does take wonderful care of his animals. It was in a new pasture and managed to get out. Those things happen from time to time. It is a very tragic incident and it's not like he meant for it to happen. I feel so sorry for both families. The crow family lost a family member and the other family lost their beloved pet. I am a horse owner as well and sometime mine get out but that doesn't mean I dont take care of them. Maybe you shouldn't be so quick to judge.

Animals get out some times, still sad story, but a horse getting out and causing a wreck, is no different from a dog being out and causing a wreck

Horses cause major damage. Dogs usually just go 'thump'.

People need to watch their dogs too. I have no sympathy for them.

It's horrible either way.. If it were happening often, he should be charged!
