that wouldnt be alderman Jeff would it? the black guy? he's the one who stood up and got the city to do a pay decrease for the city employees, and before you say thats a bad thing, take into account that the original plan was to let go the newest employees in every department, keeping the mayor and aldermans pay the same. they didnt invite jeff to that meeting but he was there anyway, and when they were about to drop the gavel he said wait a min, theres a better way to do it, and that didnt sit well with the powers that be but once the pay decrease with no job loss was out there it carried due to joe and them not wanting to be publicly shown to be asses. im not a hundred percent sure but i think he had the local news show up to the meeting to make sure he was taken seriously. maybe im wrong on who bought the turkeys but i dont see anyone on that board doing that but Jeff, hope i got his name right, i dont live in booneville so i dont really know the names of them all, just that the black guy stood up and saved some jobs that day.

I am a city employee that doesnt live in the city, & I find it amazing that you want to judge someone that wanted to do something nice for all the employees of Booneville. He didnt buy a vote from me or any others that I know of, he appreciates us as a whole, and for what we do for the city. Mccoy has showed us he will stand up for us, last year he cooked us lunch, this year gave us a turkey, granted its not much, but in the 17 years Ive worked for the city its more than any other board member has done for us. If you won would you `won would you done the same? Doubt it, the other board members didnt.
I was an employee when you worked for the city last time, and I dont think you would stand up for us like Mccoy does. You left your position last time because you couldnt handle the Mayor (Michael)so whats makes anyone think you could handle being an alderman.

I would like to know if the alderman who bought turkeys for the city employees asked the other board members and mayor their thoughs on all of them going together to do this act of kindness of if it was done by a single alderman without the knowledge of the other board members for political purposes????

Yes he did, but no one else wanted to split the cost evenly, & you ought to know that since you was there.
In my opinion Mccoy did it because wanted to, Ive known him since he was a teenager & he has always wanted to help others, if he could.
He & his wife have never been anything but nice to me & my family, even before he ran for office. Thats more than I can say about you, I mean the mayor & other board members. It seems like Jeff Williams & Mark Mccoy are the olny sincere board members there are. Their position in office has not changed them.

I beg your pardon but I was NOT there. I agree it was very nice for Mr. McCoy to show this kindness and respect. I was seriously wondering if it was brought up and no one would help. That is sad and I respect Mr. McCoy for his deed of kindness. No offense!

To funniest site ever:Iam not sure who you are by that name but just so you know I was run off my job for doing something good for some people which the mayor you mentioned took offence to.when that black church moved that trailer in it was after the mayor told me to tell them to move it in.he also told me if anyone had a problem with it to come see him.then when people started complaining he told them that he did not tell me that.if you think i am telling a lie ask bobby agnew at the fire dept.he was standing outside the mayors office when he said it.Also the city attorney told the board there was no violation of the zoning ordinance but they took the church to court anyway.the city lost in court because there was no violation.after that every decision I made that the mayor did not like he would tell people not to worry about me just do what they wantedto do.how are you going to do a job under those conditions?as far as the turkeys go that was a great gesture, but I guess you have forgotten when he was running for office he talked about replacing city employees with mexicans,so dont take everything at face value there might be an ulterior motive behind it

I can imagine Mccoy saying that, because he has a great sense of humor, it seems that you dont. I dont know of any mexican that he has tried to get hired for the city. like you said dont take everything at face value. As I said before he has showed us as employees respect and I feel like if I need something I can go to him or Jeff and they will do whatever possible to help. You, Mr. Bonds, I dont think the same of you. Like I said before you couldnt handle the pressure of your previous run with the city & "retired" when actually you bailed becauseyou couldnt handle the pressure. If you were doing what was right for the people then its your fault you backed down & let Mayor Michael get under your skin.
It sounds like you are still being a sore looser, about your loss, so run again, Hell run for Mayor, or supervisor, its coming up sooner.
Good luck Paul, with all the stink you have tried to bring up your going to need it, luck or medication.

Peebo I know you on a personal basis and half the folks who say these things have no backbone whatsoever. They hide behind that screen and that's as far as it ever goes. You have always been good to me and my family and I will stand behind you all the way. If I still lived in the city I'd help you campaign against these damn crooks that are ruining the life that citizens of booneville know. I think he would do a damn fine job as alderman. I spent may days talking to him at my dads shop and got to know the real man on a personal basis not by what someone else said about him. He is a good man and an honest one at that. Never given me any reason to think otherwise. I think me and the family have got your back brother. Go get them.
