Is there any good reliable electricians in Booneville who would fix a wiring problem I have & weight for me to pay them next week? I am a single mom & live from paycheck to paycheck & I don't get payed til next Friday but I need this problem fixed now! I'm scared my house will burn if it's not fixed soon & I don't have anybody to borrow the money from.

Flickering or dimming is not good! I have seen this in an older trailer before? One of the outlets may have a short that is feeding the lights. Old outlets that folks run an electric heater on alot

Outlets not working = breaker tripped out
Lights dimming, threw out the entire house at same time is probably an issue outside your breaker box. If isolated to one room it's probably a breaker going weak.
I am sorry I cannot be of more help I am just a plumber

just for tonight you should open the door on your fuse box, take the back of your hand, touch the breakers to make sure none of the them are getting to hot. some may be a little warm but not hot. don't overload the other outlets with extention cords to bypass the ones that don't work. check batteries in smoke alarm. bout all you can do till it gets looked at. someones gonna

Thanks for the advice. I did everything you told me & unplugged everything I could. My son & I are staying at my mother's tonight to be on the safe side. Thank you all for your help.

You can remove ONLY the plastic cover from any suspected faulty outlets and look for burned wires, loose connections, or a smell of burned wiring or plastic. That might help you isolate problem.Just dont go any farther if you dont have any experience!
