I am in Roy's family so please don't post things on here about the case that you know nothing about, unless you have proof. Which I am pretty sure you don't. This has been very hard for the family, and saying things like this only gets things going that is not true.
With all due respect, I certainly wish no further harm to the family; but it seems to me they need to know there are people who still remember and care. The "law" need to know that too. There are murderers who have been allowed to walk around free who need to answer for their crimes. If it's just "swept under the rug" it sure won't be solved.

Well that might be true, but unless people on here knows facts about the case or has proof that people where involved, they need to just leave it alone.Bringing people's names up that may not have been involved can get them in trouble. And thats not fair to them. This is just going to get Roy all be side himself and I think he has finally come to terms with it. The law may not have given us justice but our God is b/c I would bet everything I own that those involved are in a living hell here on Earth just by kn owing what they did. And I hope they have not slept since 1995.

They don't seem to be living in Hell. They go and come like they want still do their drugs and drink. Some have even got married. Roy would have love for Brad to get married so he could spoil his grandkids. That won't happen now cause he is dead. In Prentiss county if you don't have the money or the name then you don't count.
There was a couple of men trying to solve the case a few yrs back. Randy Tolar booted one of them back to patroman so he was off the case...Randy dont' want it solved or else he would have when Tony Farese told him what he did...Randy was an investegator then.

Randy Tolar was investigator then and went out of office days after Brads body was found. Not to say that he didnt work on it because I am close to his family and I know he did. Bud Micheals took office days after the murder and when he did Randy Tolar was let go. SO therefor it was no longer in his control. After this who knows where the evidence went to.

Well if you know who "they" are then why don't you go to the new investigators and ask them to reopen the case and bringing those that you are referring to in for ?'s And yes I am sure things for them are not as happy as it seems.

The law already knows who did it, they just don't want to do anything about, and as i was told that when randy ran for sheriff he said, IF YOU ELECT ME I WILL SOLVE THE CUMMINGS MURDER, well he has been in there 12yrs, and nothing has been solved or been done about it, so what happens now nothing as usual, sorry but people that are murdered and most of the time they know who they are but don't want to do anything because that person knows joe blow and they can't do anything to joe blow because joe blow knows something and that can't get out, its just a visios circle but all these people that has been murder and not solved or swept under the table, they were somes child, dad or mom or brother, sister,etc... they were somebody, just bring there murders in, instead of worrying about someone put egg on your face and your out to get them no matter what they have to do to get them. THAT IS REALLY SAD. SHAME ON THEM!

Funny you should say that I went to all of the speakings and never heard that come out of his mouth. And another thing how is it possible that you heard Randy tolar say anything when I have read in other post that you have moved her in the last couple years. Get your facts straight. May brad rest in peace. And let his family have some peace about it.

I have no problem saying I'm a fan of Randy! I do have a problem with people always trying to stir stuff up! It's quite obvious through all of your post that you aren't a fan of the pcso. So what do you do????? You bash them all over the Internet! All I can do is pray for you and hope that you can come to some sort of peace in your life and stop being so judgmental of people. I am sure Randy would love to solve this case just as much as Roy would love to have it solved. Brad was my brothers step brother and I know that he remembers the nights that Randy spent working just days before he went out of office. So before you go defending something you know nothing about get your facts straight.

i am sorry you feel that i am bashing the pcso but as i said if you are gonna be a lawman act like one and go by the law as far as i am concened the pcso is so corrupt it isn't even funny, really it is sad, so until you have been in my shoes and seen what i have seen irst hand do not judge me and as far as you praying for me to find peace thats fine but i really don't need your prayers, because i pray all the rime and i have made peace with god , but not with pcso, and one more thing i have been charged with a crime but innocent until proven guilty as they say and i know i will be found innocent because i have done nothing wrong except for being a lawson and really i am an ex lawson so again if you don't like what i am saying feel free not to read it, that will be fine with me, I will keep on until all this corruption in there is out and things are changed in prentiss county.

Yes Randy did work on the case..but after Tony Farese told him what he did about Chad Lauderdale Randy did nothing else. I know for a fact Roy went to Randy and asked him if he had found out anything and he would tell Roy he was following some leads.

Then when the case was being worked by Jason Henson and another man Randy stopped that by booting Jason back to patrolman. No Randy by no means would like to solve the case.

Like I've said before, there are low life murderers running free. And it involves more than the Cummings family. What happened to Brad could happen to anyone else or their child. We should all be indignant and horrified at this cover-up.

I don't think it is called bashing when people just want some answers or some crimes solved. I'm sure the sheriff in good in many ways, but good does not always get the job done. Has anyone ever checked to see how many murders have occured in Prentiss County in the last 50 years? Of those murders, what percentage of these crimes were solved? That the information I would like to see posted. Seems as citizens might need to request an outside news "undercover Investigators" or whatever they are called to come to PC. I would loved to see how many murders have occured in this county verses the ones solved. I actually think someone would have a great chance at writing a great book. Maybe the attorney turned author from Oxford,MS. I can't think of his name, but he has written several books that have been made into movies. Ex: A Time To Kill and etc...

I'm sure there are several cases all over the country! Not just here in prentiss county. My point to her was all she does is hates on the pcso! Literally, read all her post they are all about the law doing so wrong! I wish just as much as anybody these cases could be solved but at the same time these people we want to work on these cases also have to tend to our citizens all day every single day. Their jobs are never-ending. I by no means am trying to justify these unsolved cases but think about the job our law enforcement has to deal with day in and out. I'm sure there is never a dull moment.

I beg to differ, i see the law a lot out there at walmart, at huddle house at kfc, moore's cafe, sitting on the road talking to each other in there office popping popcorn, riding around in our vechiles shopping on there shift's, give me a break if they would do more work instead of figuring who they are going to get to tell them where the next robbery is going to be who's cooking dope, they need to be out there doing that job, not these addicts trying to get some money so they can get high, so give me a break, they get paid for doing nothing and if they have a thing for you they will set you up in a heart beat, even when your not the one doing it, how do i know, i have seen it first hand, interesting case here law stops some one with some pills ok now they are in court, some makes a deal and the law is up there says yes we caught him with 1 lortab, the arrested says no they didn't, they didn't get 1, i had 12 lortabs and i had 30 sudafeds, where did the other pills go, gee i don't know, i do, and that happens everyday, all the person that got arrested wanted the judge and states attorney to know that it was more than i pill, and the judge just put there heads down, saying whats he doing, what happened to the other ones, lets look at the big picture who are the criminals out there, or that's ok for them to pocket those pills that they took cuz they are the law, i was in walmart one day and i seen a deputy in there he had some lithum batteries and gaterade and drain cleaner, whats he gonna do with that go home put his batteries in his remote control drink some gaterade and clean his pipes out, oh ya they are really working, yea to make an extra dollar, the ecomony is bad for everyone, why should it be any different for them. So think what you want buddy you are proably in there click, cuz you sure don't want anybody to speak the truth about them it might hurt your earnings from them. So believe what you want but i have seen these things happen, and they will be called upon to answer for what they do, all of us will.

If people are saying that prentiss county is so good and perfect like some people that are replying to these comments, why is it that in the past 12yrs. that there has been 6 law officers that have been sent to jail, and i mean MDOC, and that is not including the ones that have been fired, and that is in the last 12yrs., so who's not corrupt?
