Leave people alone......I don't see how this is hurting you. Only cowards would stoop so low as

I'll be the first to agree that they should use there food stamps for food. But who are you to ask for names. Why don't you put your name, address and phone number on here so anyone who wanted to contact you, then they could do that. And who said the people using the cards even had children. If the food stamp office wanted to stop what people are buying they could do it. They have to know and until they do something, let's mind our own business and try to be happy..

Hmmm, mind our own business? Seems to me that our tax dollars go to pay for those food stamps. I get tired of working so that scum can buy pop with food stamps and sell it for money to buy drugs or whatever with. I don't mind paying taxes so that those less fortunate can eat, but pop is not necessary for good nutrition and should be banned from food stamp purchases.

It's not the people buying the pop it's the stores for letting them get so much at a time. I get food stamps and I need my stamps. I drink pop and about the only way I get a pop is on my card. I've never ever sold any of my stamps before! For you to get on here and say that you shouldn't be able to buy pop on your card is mean, disrespectful, and very rude! Some people were not born with a sliver spoon up their asses! I work and still have trouble making it! I know a lot of people sale their cards but that's their fault. Most are young people with little kids who's parents wind up feeding them and taking care of them. It's wrong I agree but they should be a daily or even weekly amount you can buy. Don't take away from those who really need it like me and my family. One rotten egg don't destroy the whole dozen! As far as putting up names goes I think that's wrong. Everyone knows who does it and why stir up more shit!

They could limit the amount of pop bought with foodstamps - like enough for each person in the household to get to drink one pop a day. Nobody needs more than that anyway.

Also where could I report people who sell their food stamps, just to the food stamp office or what? Will they even care?

First, I said nothing about putting people's names on here.

Rude and disrespectful? Wow. Yet you imply that I might have been born with a silver spoon up my ass? I don't think so. I work. I've always worked.

Pop is not food! It's something you WANT, not something you NEED.

And yes, I think it's time to stir up some shit. Call your politicians, demand that food stamps be used for FOOD. Even better, demand that food stamps be used for staples only, not for frozen dinners, pop and candy!

lol at Rooster. I've eaten beans more than 3 days in a row. Like I said, pop is not a necessity.

Most of the good old women that cooked everyday have either died off, moved away, or simply quit. The eating habits for the average family has changed so much in the last few years. It's quick fix stuff. I used to eat taters every day. Now, I ain't had a fried tater in months. They do make a mess on the stovetop. I know, I've gotten too sorry. I used to have a lot of places I would go and the first thing they would ask was have you eaten? I've got a few still. Most now ask "What the F**k are you doing here? As for pop, I love it. I am addicted to it. If there is none in the house, I panic. I geek, I DT, I go out in the middle of the night. More fun than a booty call. Pathetic, ain't it? Your friend, R1

Is pop taxable in Kentucky? It is in Ohio and you are not allowed to buy taxables with food stamps. I'm sure some stores still let people buy it even tho they aren't suppose to.

I agree with you a hundred percent. When you buy food or whatever and go home with it, you can look at your receipt and see what you have or haven't bought. That receipt could be sent to the food stamp computer and be kicked out for misuse of the card. After all they are paying the money out.

I agree with this food stamp thing. It's a shame. Not only do they buy pop, they take orders from scum like them to buy roasts and steaks to trade for drugs or to sell to buy drugs and cigarettes. The food stamp offices need workers to check these people's homes for the food these food stamps is supposed to buy.

Soft drinks should not be eligible for purchase with food stamps. That would solve the whole problem.
