Obama will be worse than a bad president, he will be dangerous. Here's my argument: 1. How can one support a stateside leader of the Palestinian terror group Hamas ( Prof. Rashid Khalidi was supported both financially and vocally, by Obama ), and then purport to not be an anti-semite? 2. How can one sit on a board of directors, and facilitate the funding of teach radicalism in Chicago schools, with an unrepentant terrorist who actually BOMBED THE PENTAGON and a US POLICE STATION! 3. How does Obama expect to bring in trillions and trillions of dollars of government mandated programs by only taxing 5% of the highest level of wealth in this country, when that 5% of the wealth only amounts to 10 cents on the dollar ( this according to Forbes Magazine )? The real wealth in this country is the working class, and he WILL need to get into that. 4. Obama has indicated he will strip out our military and unilaterally disarm our nuclear capability, as well as halt our Star Wars programs. How does this make us safer when Russia is actually practicing war games now in the Western hemisphere with Venezuelan support?

Thinking about him becoming president makes me feel sick to my stomach. Doesn't give me a sense of security, only worry at what this world might become.

Why are you always down my throat? No hate here It's just I don't like the guy. I still won't like him "if" he wins. It has nothing to do with "color" if thats what you think. It's just I don't think he is ready to lead. He hasn't had enough time, he's still learning. That's my veiw even if you and I don't agree.

Looks like your man won. A great victory for Obama. He should be proud. Too bad his Grandma didn't make it to see this day. She would have been proud. I am happy for you. But I guess I'll just have to get over it, as well as everyone who voted McCain. It was a close race and one that brought out anger in those who supported the one they believed in. I hope we all can move on and hope to hell the new man does his job. God Bless!

Well perhaps it will be a better change for everyone. We are all minorities at this point, the rich getting richer and we are getting poorer. I hate when I see the AIG officials are going on luxury retreats while the rest of us are loosing money from our 401K plans. Let’s hope the democrat’s can make a better change for all of us. Let's hope the Democrats can bring our men and women home from fighting in that foreign country. Let's hope the democrats can make things better for our older Americans. We all know it won’t happen overnight but we need to try something different

Hope you and I are cool, no hard feelings we were tough with each other and said some not so nice things. But I am happy for Obama and his family. And for the african American's. I guess it's been a long time coming. But last night history was made and my little girl will read about this in the history books. Take care and God Bless!

I am very happy it's over. Now all the drama begins with the inaguaration parties, parades and traffic jams... ugggh what a nightmare that can be. I somewhat felt bad for Sarah Palin because I felt like she was railroaded in some instances. I think she is happy to to back to Alaska and I kinda don't blame her!

LOL GOT the spelling tip! I sometimes type so fast being here at work does not allow me the time to hang around topics and spell correctly LOL (smile) I like Obama Girl; Will let you know if I get a job in his cabinet! Right now we are working on getting tickets for the events. Tickets for the actual swearing in ceremony start at $985. Now that is if you want to see anything. If we just want to go and stand all the way in the back it's free... guess we will be all the way in the back. It’s going to be fun just to be a part of history you know…

We have 70 degree weather today I hope it stays like this thru Jan. I too wish there was other blogs we could talk on. Not many Roanoke folks post on topics. My family is in Roanoke and I went to school there amd my church is in Roanoke. Did you go and see Sarah Palin when she was in Salem?

CONGRATS!! to you. Babies are a precious gift from GOD. I use to go to Spirit of Life Church there in Roanoke and my Pastor was Antonio Thomas he passed away at a young age. I know your day is very busy with the children. I respect the "Moms" of this world. Michelle Obama is a stay at home mom too. When I come to visit Roanoke for Christmas maybe we will bump into one another in the midst of all of the holiday shopping. I am going to Nebraska for Thanksgiving can't wait have family there as well. Hope you have a great weekend. What did you think of Obama's choice for the Chief of Staff job? He is going to bring a few GOP people in as well.

He is going to bring a few GOP people in as well. I try to stay out of politics it gives me a headache. It's nice to be respected as a stay at home mom though Thanks! A lot of women don't understand how hard it is, because they work either, because they have too, or want to. I respect that, and with this economy both have to work to make it. But staying at home was something my other half and I decided years ago. I miss the money, But I think I would miss my kids more if I worked away from home. I "also" have family all over the place. I have a brother I haven't seen in 12 years. He's in the military and will retire in 3 years. He lives in Oklahoma with his wife and kids. As for the holiday shopping I'm done already. I don't like long lines or crowded places. So I try to avoid all that. So chances of us meeting that way are slim. I think next Christmas will be a lot more fun for my little girl. I will get to take her to the Mall to see Santa. O' how fun it was back when life was so innocent. Anyway, I guess everyone knows my life story now. Ha! stay cool later! TGIF!

I dont think it will ever make much difference who is president as long as those lifers on both sides of the isle are calling the shots. A president with new ideas needs new people to bounce those ideas off .He or she is for the most partare knocking there heads on the wall trying to talk to these peaple. These lifers owe to much to the party they work for so they cant stray from the fold.I never vote for a person that has been in office for 4 years.I have people tel me,oh he is a good guy and does a ggod job.Well if that be the case he wont have trouble getting in some other office after he leaves the one he is in.I feel for the most part that most of our leaders are in it for the money and want to be seen as bigger than life.Funny that as soon as the coffin lid is closed, life goes on and somebody else spends the money.
