So what?? He is suppose to take care and support his entire family? His father did nothing to help him. Obama did not really know this side of his family.

If you read his books, he by his own admission didn't know his white side either. So, I guess it is another example of Obama's I didn't hear it tho I sat in the pews 2/month for 20 years, I didn't know it, that little piece about all my friends being terrorist, who would have believed all my friends were so evil?, I am a self made man, I invented myself in Chicago Illinois, thanks Google for wiping out anything to do with my previous life. |

1 How can you say Obama did not know his white side of the family? His grandma just died!! She was WHITE the last time I checked. He may not have known the extended part of the white family but he knew the most important, grandma and grandaddy, the ones who got him where he is today and where he will be tomorrow President of the United States! aLso why hold him accountable for what his former Pastor has said? I am sure you don't agree with your Pastor all the time, however, do you protest it? I doubt it. Rev. Wright should not be preaching division and hate that is wrong and not Godly. So lets let GOD handle that. |

I say it because in his books he says he couldn't identify with his whiteness. |

1 Have you listen to the man speak? He does and can relate to not only blacks but whites, grant it he may not have been able to relate to the white side of his family for several reasons, perhaps they did not exactly welcome him with open arms, perhaps they didn't make him feel like family, and now the black side wants financial support too. Come on he is one person trying to make a difference as a whole but to hold him accountable for the actions of his family or acquaintances is just ridiculous. What if we said McCain went to destroy Vietnam all those years ago so now he must pay restitution? I think most of America has had the chance to wake up and see change is needed. Even some Republicans are supporting Obama and that says a lot! |

People vote their pocketbooks for the most part. This new president has gutted many a pocketbook allready and continues to do so.My life is no better now than it was with Bush. Our boys are still getting killed in far away places. The jobs are getting fewer and fewer. We are deeper in debt.No help at all on the so called free trade mess.I know it taes time to make a change ,but you would think that we would see some little difference somewhere. My opinion is he needs to spend a little more time in the white house working and a lot less running around on our dollar. He is a good speaker but remember action speaks louder than words.
