I could use some of that deer meat thats going to be available from the thinning of the heard I can skin ands process my own deer and come get it even

If thats not possible I just hope the meat is donated to some lucky Families that can use it

I wished they could have employed the use of actual deer hunters for this process instead of having to use Police Marksman but do understand as well

Either way is far more humaine than having the deer population out of control and having mother nature solve the over crowding issue caused by Starvation and Illness

curious to what great plan the protesters are offering in leau of the sharpshooter option? Maybe we should listen to the protesters, and cancel the schedule plan. Then we could just send the bills from the damaged caused by the excessive numbers of deer to these people. I think most of those in favor or removing the deer would be happy with that.
But you know, that probably wouldnt work either. Like most protesters they probably dont hold a job and have no money, or they would be at work doing something productive instead of spending there free time trying to get on tv!!

Well the great Jason Miller (Mr Deer head himself) generously offered to house said deer in his backyard.

I believe the question has been asked many times what alternatives do you offer that are financially viable. I have yet to see a comprehensible answer.

I recommend letting some of the protesters go out with the hunters. They need to see the other side of the debate. Understand the importants of mowing down the herd to a reasonable size. Letting them even pull the trigger on an animal who harms nothing but our way of life. Once they see the sportsmanship of killing a deer, they will come around.

Oh hell with it. If they block the entrance to the park again, shoot them too.

The ring leader dumped a bucket of bovine blood over his head? He obviously has mental issues, and should be locked up. I predict he will do more, irrational and dangerous stunts in the future... These animal rights activists are campaigning against killing animals, they should move to India - LOTS of cows running around, even in the city, lots of people who cant eat meat, and the lovely smells - cow urine is a 'perfume' to them - they splash it themselves as a ritual. Perhaps this would be more palatable to them.

I understand that there are too many deer, but killing is not the solution. It is our fault. We have been sprawling into their territory for 50 years and it is time to stop. This is all our faults.
