Who is the animal control person in this town? And who do you complain to when they dont do their job.

Call city hall, they know who it is and who you will need to talk to. Someone needs to complain, he is about the laziest person ever. If he don't want to do his job he needs to quit and give someone that will actually work, a chance to do the job.

How does he keep his job? I run at the pond every morning and there has been a dead cat in the road all week, it has been reported several times, and he still has not picked it up. I see this quite often, what is his problem? Is he really that lazy? Stanley I will also go down to city hall and complain about him that is bu11shit.

psshhh... the city take dead animals out of the road, you kidding me. It will be there til its part of the road and the rain washes it away cause they cant get off their a$$ to do their job, i called about a dead duck by the pond and it layed there til it rotted, so i moved it myself cause i was tired of seeing it. this town dont do crap but waste money on things not needed and steal from the residents.

Well Day number 5...and you were correct, what is left of the cat is now part of the road. I called city hall and the man I was to talk to was not available. I think I will go to the next counsel meeting and say something about this, and see why nothing is done with him.

Animal control in bt is basically the citizens job to do it so the city can pay their worker to sit or play games. So us citizens do it so we dont have to look at the dead animal in the streets. So why not get rid of it completly cause ive never gotton help from the city for dead animals in the street. We dont need to waste money on lazy people. Maybe the city could use it to fix the pool or make a better park. Cause they sure as hll are wasting paying someone who does not do their job. Its bs. The city people need to open their eyes and see this. Instead of taxes get rid of the lazy workers we dont need and it will save our town some money.

Let us not forget the enablers like Larry Barton and the Board. They are allowing this to go on under their noses.

could this cat have been my cat? it had gotten lost a little over a week ago and i can't find it. should have called the animal control person to keep an eye out for it. maybe the city clerk should have called the animal control man if she saw it up there on her many trips up there. heard her and her fellow likes sitting up there during working hours. my poor little cat. been gone a few days and my cat sitter left it outside and then it was gone. damn person that ran over my cat. probably someone swerve to hit it and laugh about it. and i don't think it is the water dept. job to pick up dead animals. tha tis why they have a so called animal contol person on duty. maybe the clerks at city hall have nothing else to do but play games and sabotage each other, give them a shovel and tell them to pick up and dispose these animals. i would have felt better knowing my cat was well taken care of instead of a piece of the pavement. i'll be sad over my cat if this was my cat.

I didn't even realize that we had an animal control person. About two years ago we had a problem with a German Shephard coming into our yard. We are dog people so we weren't worried about it when we first saw it but then it started to growl and snap at us. We have young children so it was obviously disturbing. One day I decided to take the kids out to play. When I went outside I noticed the dog on the back porch so I shooed the kids back inside and tried to run it off. Instead it ended up between me and the door and wouldn't move. I finally called the police to get the dog catcher here. A policeman showed up and kept the dog where it was until a VOLUNTEER was able to come and get the dog, no animal control officer to be seen. At another point our son tripped over a bat in the backyard while playing. I was told to call animal control since bats are notorious for rabies and it is unsual to find a bat out and about during the day. Who showed up? Another policeman with animal control nowhere to be found. I seriously didn't even know that Bonne Terre had an animal control officer, I thought the police were in charge of issues like that. I don't agree that the positions should be abandoned but I do think that someone else needs to be hired, you know, someone who will actually do the job.
