Sam Scism in Park Hills

Im a stay at home mom and wife, I only use my vehicle to go to doctors appointments(in farmington) and the local country mart in Bonne Terre, I literally do not go anywhere else in my vehicle and have only had it for alittle over a year. It broke down two months after I purchased it, I had to argue with them about retrieving the vehicle after they "fixed it".. 4 months later it broke down again, I again had to argue to retrieve it without paying a 400 dollar bill for something they should have maintained up on the vehicle.. and exactly 2 months later it broke down again.. its now been a month and a half and guess what?.. they have it again "fixing it", Im now waiting on the call for them to tell me I need 400 dollars to pay for whatever they "fixed" to pick it up.. if you dont want to go through what im going through.. BEWARE! I am warning people because I was so happy to get that vehicle at first and Im now devastated that I have to worry everyday about transportation that I pay for on time never late once every month. David Scism is a liar and a greedy individual..and a disgrace to car customers who trust the dealership they buy from.. BEWARE of Sam Scism Ford dealership, DO NOT buy from them, especially a used vehicle.. They let these cars sit on their lot and literally rot!! if they would have maintained my vehicle like the law requires I would not be in this position.. you take your car out there to be fixed it WILL break down for THE EXACT same thing they supposedly "fixed" before.. They DO NOT stick to the "warranty" they type up and lie in.. Now I'm stuck with a vehicle they refuse to fix properly and no matter what 2 months later something else suddenly happens to it.. The only option I have left is to call a lawyer.. BEWARE OF SAM SCISM.. its not worth it.

You know Sam you can't do that to her/him just because they are putting what happened to her car. Or this is just someone posting that for fun. I have used you guys before to to get something "fixed" and not only did it only stay fixed for 24 hours it also had my car and still has my cars brakes locking up on me and pulsing! I almost flipped my car awhile back after you guys touched it and my brakes doing that all I can say is your lucky I didn't!!!!!! I will be going to desoto they are nicer and do take care of the cars. Also instead of saying you "fixed" something make sure the new items are on the vehicle mine is still the old ones.

I went there to get a car and they lied. Told me they would give me 3000 on my trade in and when it came to signing papers they wanted to give me 1200 after telling me 3000. They guy said it was because it wasnt worth it. So basically he tried to scam me and tell me one price and give me less in the end so he would make a sale. I never got the car from there i went to another place and got 2500 for my trade in. So i wont go there again.
Wouldnt ever go to them

Im sure glad I'm not the only person screwed by them.. I took my vehicle to them they told me it was my alternator so I told them to fix it.. Got it back went to work it wouldn't start.. Took it back to them they put another alternator on it... Problem solved right??? Nope week three won't start took it back AGAIN... O this time I was pissed.. Seems they been putting wrong one on my vehicle and they were so sorry.. Sorry my ass I paid dearly for repairs and had to bum rides everytime they had my vehicle..Stupid me took it back to them to have one coil pack repaired.. 300.00,,, took it back 4 times for same coil they said it was moisture in my coil pack causing it to go out??? So I said humm am I not to drive it when it rains?? Charged me again for same coil pack.. By the time it was said and done I had all 8 coil packs replaced by them because they couldn't get 1 to seal.. Boy was that expensive,,,,,, never again will I EVER Go there for anything..

I do know that he really enjoys his cocaine aside from being a cocaine dealer. So I guess he really IS a "Dealer For The People", just not the "dealer" that he portrayed himself to be.

It really is sad that people can be so deceitful.

I think of Sam & what he would be thinking of David (his grandson) & the men of his family in disappointment as they have continued to disgrace the family name & business that this man (legend) worked so hard for & what took him so many years to build. They are destroying BOTH, piece by piece. I hope that someone puts a stop to this destruction before there's nothing left of the legendary business. I am sure this is a huge disgrace to my dear friend.

I was told they don't do crap for if your breaks or anything. I was going to go there to get a vehicle but I have family and friends that dealt with them and said not to. I will believe 30 people over 1 person when they have proof of it. Was told they dealt more than cocaine there too.

There's no such thing as an honest car salesman. It's a fact of life.

I know this because I usually have to perform oral sex every time I even look at a car.

This is interesting considering Sam has passed away two years ago. It saddens me to no end how Charlie has treated the service customers. He does not care about anyone but himself. David on the other hand does not know how to be a man. He uses his drugs, takes all of the dealership's money, and doesn't have a care in the world. Kent should get rid of Charlie and David and take over. He is a great man and has prooved that to the community on numerous occasions. I can ony imagine how hard it must be to step up to the plate and disown family members, however, if he wants the dealership to succeed that is what needs to be done. I encourage all of you to speak to Kent about your concerns. Possibly this will encourage him to do the right thing.

Sam was a dear friend of mine as well. He would be devastated
to know the way his grandson treats people. Been in there a few times
the treatment is not the same.It would be great to see the strong relationship and leadership Sam was made of.
