tell you what, I've changed my mind. I'm not going to wait on whatever incoherent rambling is about to waist our brain cells from whatever "local" has to say. I been knowing the man since I hit this earth, and can vouch from experience what his spare time has been taken up doing, because i've seen it.

I've seen him cut wood for people, cook for people. cook for events, help people move, deliver food boxes, go door to door during huricanes, help people find lost dogs, horses, cows. seen him use his own personal equiptment to help people. I've seen him help people build stuff, seen him help dive up dead bodies. seen him sit with people during the bad times of death in families. I've seen him take kids to detox, parents to detox. I've seen him do what was right even when it might not have been "politically correct", or "not the norm", or "not socially acceptable", because it was the right thing, for you and your loved ones. I've seen him build a new jail so the county would quit paying other jails to house inmates, and start programs to try to fight the meth epidemic, and others to try to give kids something to do so they wouldn't run around and use that stuff, get into trouble and cycle through the system, and develop programs to try to nip some of this stuff in the bud before it gets started. I've seen him treat people with respect, always, ever since i been knowing him. I've seen him do all of these things,......for you. A few of you yahoos get on here, and this is how he's repaid? Ridiculous. He's a better man than me than want to serve people like you local, because you're a disease, a disease that needs to leave Holmes County, leave it to the people that love it, live it.
no worries

Dont worry, lightning. He lives in another county and will shortly be hunting employment there also or at least another paper to destroy.

Of course it is not what you remember because you are voting for another candidate. But the truth of the matter is that regardless of what you may remember John Braxton Sr. was a good Sheriff! And what I remember is that he only lost by 4 or 5 votes so half of Holmes County thought so as well!

I think you meant to say "want." Anyways, that to me just proves he has more experience.

Well uneducated, looks to me like he has more experience renting a "U-Haul" than anything else. He's got more time as a prison guard and "part time" than he has working as a deputy. You can't get much experience in law enforcement guarding prisoners, it's not hard to chase felons in a jail cell. We're voting for Lee, we know what he'll do!!!!

Wow, your first sentence is used to downtalk another person. You seem very mature. Anyways, if he is so great like all of you would have us believe, why did he get voted out?

Well, smartness, your first sentence was used to downgrade another person in a more direct way than the person's (notice I use my apostrophe correctly) you were "correcting". Additionally, experience moving from job to job every six months does not a Sheriff make. Personally, I will be voting for Mr. Lee. I assume he was voted out because a certain number of people voted for someone else. An educated person such as yourself should have been able to figure that out. Maybe your 1910 grammar book precludes your reading comprehension skills, but if you read the same list of job changes I read, you cannot help but wonder.
In fact, I didn't even click on that link until you made such a fuss. Thanks for the nudge.

Well smart one, if you are going to correct someone try and make sure you have checked behind yourself. Your quote "experience moving from job to job does not a Sheriff make". And to help you understand the moving around, do this. Go back to the job history and see how many times he moved to better himself! This is what we all strive to do is move up and on to bigger and better things to achieve our goals! Now stop drinking your
hater-ade and watch John Braxton Jr win this election. If you have drank this much hater-ade this early on, come election night you will get drunk on it!
