Have you driven on East Ninth Street latly, off Center Street to the VA. Some of the old veterans are showing up there with flash backs from the last three wars. I have to drive a mile or so out of my way in order to keep my car and butt cheeks in working order. Lots of people come to the VA, good way to show them how we live here in Fannin County.

My ass, it takes you to the only money making facility in Bonham, besides the low wage jails west of town, now they are putting another one at the old jail, we still make payments on. WAKE UP BONHAM, get you head out of your ass and join the rest of America. Tivo, I have lived in many countries, what do you need hill-billy translation.

the road is bad, but they are going to repair it. there is several money guys that live on that road, and i'm sure most of them are complaining weekly if not daily.

Yes, TexDot - but, if we had a city counsel that cared about Bonham and its citizens 9th Street would have been completed several months ago. May I ask, What are the duties of a Mayor?

Talking about money guys, it just so happens the one guy I am sure you are refering to married into money. He had no education to speak of and average wages in between marriages.

Heard that the city has finished their part of the project with the installation of the lines. The holdup is the state that is going to come in and do the actual road.

What part of it being a state project do some of you not understand? TXDOT is who is holding up the street repair and repaving.

So in other words, you would be ok for an increase in your taxes to cover the expense of paving this state owned road? And you do realize that once the city begins working on it, they will lose all state funding / grants now and in the future and that cost will then be passed on to the taxpayers in any construction or maintenance indefinitely? Yeah, sounds really smart. What a plan.
