I think everyone needs to just quit getting butt hurt about it and read a book or something. Plus coach bounds is a really good coach it's not him that's making us lose its the players. We need to try harder and go all out when we play. Couch trompler never made jv practice after school didn't make us stay the whole time during two a days last year but coach bounds does. He wants us to do good and he is trying his hardest.

In the playoffs? Our little team has only won one game this season. If they hadn't switched the format to three teams in each district making it, there wouldn't be a chance of it happening. I hope Bonham does make it to the playoffs, but if they do it's going to be embarassing going in with a losing record.
two key words here little and embarassing says a lot about the person who posted this

does it matter how many games are won or lost or how far they go in play-offs as long as they are doing something they enjoy? also people are saying bonham should worry more about education...fyi you have to worry about your education if you want to play sports. a failing kid can't participate in any extracurricular activities therefore they make sure they pass their classes so they can do what they love. so stop putting down the kids in the community just to make yourself feel better.

Who is putting the kids down on here? The community is in full support of the Big Purple Machine once again like they were in the mid 80's to early 90's.

I graduated Bonham High School in 2009 and we had the talent to go far in the playoffs, but having a different coach every other year made it hard on us! The first and foremost thing that Bonham High School did was get rid of coach mac!I don't care what anyone else has to say but coach mac was a hell of a coach and kids and parents respected him!I didn't play my junior year because of the coaching change, plus i think i can speak for many other kids as well. This is besides the point, but bonham seems to run the good coaches out of herejust like they tried to run coach dills out when he has produced so many state champions in powerlifting!

Please, do tell how Coach Bounds is a bad influence on our kids since you seem to be in "the know"! If he is such a bad influence, then please explain the tremendous turn around in the attitudes & confidence in the football boys this year? I saw boys who could care less seasons before grow into committed team members all due to the respect Coach Bounds showed them from day 1!

You evidently don't know much about powerlifting or any sport! Powerlifting is a TEAM and INDIVIDUAL sport, and it takes someone like Coach Dills to spend time with the kids and push them on getting better in all three phases! I'm tired of all these people talking bad about Coach Dills, he is the most down to earth guy and would do anything in the world for the kids he has coached or coaching! He has produced some of the best powerlifting teams in this state! So before you start running your mouth do some research and then get back to me! Thanks

I strongly stand behind Coach Bounds. He came into a situation where Bonham had not made the playoffs in 7 seasons and got our boys to the playoffs with lots of key injuries along the way. He's not a bad influence, he's a man that took a group of young men who didn't know what winning was like and taught them how to win and how to be proud of something. People like you don't have a clue what he really is like, and to be honest neither do I, but what I do know is my son who plays and will continue to play for him, respects and admires what a leader and mentor that Coach Bounds is. I don't care if you call me a butt kisser or not, truth is the boys earn their spots, not the parents, and I could care less tomorrow if he was demoted for someone better to benefit the team. Our goal as a community should be to bring the tradition of winning back to Bonham and not to bring up negative crap about a coach/coaches just because you don't agree with them. I like all of our Coaches/Teachers, they do an awesome job for my kids and I firmly believe they do an awesome job for yours.

spot on Josh, He has coached my son the last 2 years and he has became so much stronger from his teachings than I could have imagined. Haters in this world! I got your back on this!
