Who does he think he is to try and over rule Federal law? The forefathers are turning over in their graves.

No, Man... you have it ass backwards.(like the vast majority of FanninCo)
It means someone is safe from being harassed, bullied, or otherwise accosted by wacko fascist liberals that like to impose their will upon others.

No, man, you STILL don't get it. He is the duly elected governor of the state you live in. You don't like it, VOTE. Any time Texas doesn't suit you, Delta is ready when you are....

I'm certainly not his biggest fan, but he works for US! He is not acting capriciously; he is acting upon the will of his constituents, but you wouldn't know anything about that wouldja?

It was a bipartisan bill that flew through. Shows what our state government believes in. Now Mikey, Wisconsin and the old folks up there might be different. If you go up there, tell them we all said Merry Christmas!!!

He has broken a law by signing that bill, now comes the consequences, and I won't vote for a public office holder who flagrantly breaks a Constitutional law, a law he took an oath to uphold, this law will be struck down quickly and we will go back to the respectful Happy Holidays greeting.

So let me get this straight; the wacko liberal idealog agenda makes these loons gripe, whine and bitch and claim the Governor is imposing his will illegally, and yet they think its OK to tell YOU what you can & cannot say, and they apparently think a simple Merry Christmas is somehow insidiously perverting your children and their minds, and violates the First Amendment. Wake up liberal wackos: saying Merry Christmas doesn't make you a Christian any more than simply addressing someone of the Jewish persuasion with respect by saying Shalom automatically dictates that you convert to Judaism. These morons think Happy Holidays is more appropriate?? Wow,...

No, thank you. I will not be told what I can say. The basis of what this country was founded dictates that you say what you wish and I will do the same. If you think for one minute that you can take Merry Christmas away from ANYONE, then I'd like to see you try. I have never seen or heard a more vacuous attempt at fascism.

Dream on numbskulls..... and Merry Christmas. Right around that time of year I'll be in the woods with MY GUN, trying my best to harvest as many deer as I possibly can so we can have something that the government doesn't try to contaminate with mind control. Oh No! someone with a GUN!-hurry! call Homeland Security! Thats just another thing on your laundry list of freedoms you would have taken away because you dumb asses think you need to save us from ourselves. Not a freaking CHANCE!! All you wacko fascists can go take a flying LEAP; right off the Aleutian Islands. Take your choice: Communist China, The remnants of Russia, or any other Totalitarian State. You should feel right at home there. We love America. You hate it. You prove it every day.

It's disrespectful to those not Christian, it's a law of the Constitution in certain venues, and it's sad a gun toting, ignorant redneck, who shoots innocent wildlife just to fill their freezer, is a disgrace to a true American, you need to be shipped off to the Middle East where you would fit right in.

There's something called free speech that's being increasingly infringed upon in the name of being politically correct. Where should the line be drawn? Atheists can silence Christians or vice versa? This country is becoming a bunch of weak liberal pansies. What would R Lee Ermey do?

".... shoots innocent wildlife just to fill their freezer is a disgrace,,,"

Hunting to fill their freezer to feed their family is disgraceful and evil - but doing nothing but sitting on their butts and collecting food stamps is perfectly acceptable??? I have a hard time following that logic.

My point was IF you need the food fine but don't go out there without a license and kill more than you really need or allowed by law, in other words for sport not for need.

You are a true piece of work, I never said I was against the death penalty, I think they need to step it up, and if you read the Texas Game Warden News you will see the hundreds every year who violate hunting laws, and fishing laws just to fill the freezer. Hunting is for people who have no respect for life or nature. So keep on with your power hungry antics, wish animals could shoot back when they are abused and about to be slaughtered for no reason but to feel the pull of that trigger and a defenseless animal hit the ground. And to not call yourself a thrill killer is way out of line. Your the one that needs to talk to Dr. Phil not me, I have respect for nature and the laws.

Rick perry is an idiot and an embarrassment to the state. Thankfully those debates are over, but the rest of the states I'm sure still
Get their laughs at us for thanks to his stupid stupidness hahaLuckily he will be gone soon, and long forgotten. But wow, talk about stupid, stupid stupid stupid puppet, honestly probably more puppet than stupid! But hey, it's still
Texas, best state in the country, and Obama is kind of his daddy in a way. Wouldn't it be fun to get him and bush together and just get hammered with those guys! Imagine the truths
And bs and everything that would come out!

So hunters don't respect life or nature?! That's crazy talk! Yes, I'll admit there are some hunters that are idiots and shouldn't be allowed a gun. My family "fills there freezers" so that we can stay within a small budget for food AND we hunt legally! Cost of living keeps rising but the salaries aren't. I'm amazed at how often you stereotype people and then try to justify that wrong by saying that's what has been done to you. I'm very sure you've been hurt by some that have called themselves Christian, but can you honestly say EVERY Christian you've met since you've moved here has been horrible? Are all hunters disrespectful of nature? I find that hard to believe that you would make such narrow minded statements. But if that is the standard you want to set then what if I said all Pagans are thieves, liars, and perverts because I can name some that have stolen from me and that they all go off to camps and have wild orgies?! That would be silly of me to say just because I've known some who have done those things. Not all Christians, Baptists, hunters and Pagans are bad just because you and I have met some that have made poor choices.
