Lets get some folks on here to try Mocheeze @ 11th & Center one day and then try Mudbones on 121 the next and report back. You guys that own these businesses and their buddy's stay out of this! Just some wannabe local resturant critics do this fair and square. No trash talk, no hating on people, just a fun little review. Ready... set....
I think a restaurant review by category would be fun....best Mexican, Best Bar-b-que...etc.
The only problem with your idea is........you are the one that seems to decide who are the "guys that own these businesses and their buddy's " regardless of the truth. So, let's make that .... customers only...... owners, friends of owners, and you excluded from the "voting".

Well, I grew up on Sparky's as a kid and all through high school and my college years before it went away so I always compare any burger to that memory of goodness. I work in Sherman but live in Bonham and I got to take off yesterday for a doctor appointment so I went to try out Muddbones. Let me tell you that it was better than adveritsed. It was one of the best burgers I ever had. Not saying it was better than Sparky's but I finally have a burger in Bonham that I will be eating again. If anyone has a complaint I would guess it would be that they don't have fries just chips but it didn't make any difference for me. It's all about the burger for me and it reminded me of eating at Barbara's burgers as a kid getting the chips and a can drink with your burger. As far as Mocheesy's goes it wasn't even a contest as far as I am concerned. I have tried them half a dozen times or so since they opened but I just never cared much for them. I wanted to like it but just not that great. I usually eat at MG's or Whataburger to get my burger fix since I'm in Sherman most days but I would say I would rate their burger(muddbones) way above even either of those two places. If you like burgers you definately need to try them out. Two thumbs up from this reviewer.

Well my vote goes to Muddbones. Ate there over the weekend and all I could say was WOW! Best burger in Fannin county. The owners came out and talked to everyone during their down time. Their meat was fresh pressed that day. They said they buy it twice a week and prepare it daily so mocheesy's isn't the only one. Can't take mocheesy's, sorry but $10 for a mediocre burger, fries and drink is way too much for
my blood. Muddbones burger was
outstanding. Thumbs way up.
whatever

I'm with THX1138. Mocheezy's is ok but price is too high! Tried Muddbones the other day for lunch & it was absolutely delicious & half the price!! Will be a repeat customer for sure! My vote definitely would be Muddbones all the way!!:)

I'm just curious because I just now saw where this place is this week, but do most of you sit at the tables there and eat or do you take it with you?

I hope they do well, but this summer it's going to be hell on their business because no one is going to want to sit at picnic tables and eat during the lunch time or even early evening.

I ate at mocheese today... $7.57 for a large burger, fries, 32oz drink including tax.

LOL...I do not work there, but i can see why you would think that. As I disclosed in my first post about Muddbones, I am friends with one of the owners. Actually I have only eaten there once so far, but I do sincerely wish him the best and plan to go back regularly. He is a single dad, trying to make a living for himself and his teenager. His wife died about a year ago from breast cancer.

Mocheezy has a sign out from about some sort of hamburger combo for $3.99. I saw someone say it cost them $10 for a hamburger there. Good lord, that must have been a five patty burger with extra "fixins"!!!

Now I know both Muddbones & MoCheezy both sell cheese burgers. I want to get a cheese burger from both places at one time and meet in the middle and have a taste test why Muddbones has taken over Texomaland by storm. Every where I go thats all I hear about is Muddbones, Muddbones, Muddbones, If they are so good when is that Guy from the Food Channel coming?

Maybe you should get out more and quit sitting on topix all day long. I went Saturday again and it looked like a car lot when I pulled up. Good stuff.

Funny since I posted one time in three days.

I drove by Saturday at about 12:30 and there were two cars, that could be a mom and pops used car lot you are comparing it to I guess. I slid on over to Braum's and got a decent meal and a nice restaurant to sit in.

Look, I hope they make it, sounds like the owner has been through a lot, but it's hard to support a family with a concession stand. I just don't see how that's going to work in the brutal heat of the summer and the cold weather in winter time. People just aren't going to want to do that.

your loss I guess. Thought you was a big supporter of new businesses in bonham? Might want to try a place before you say it can't make it. It won't stop me from having a good burger just because it's hot. Days like today will be their biggest problem. Rain and snow will be an issue but I don't see sunshine being an issue. Five minutes in the sun won't kill me. You?.........maybe judging from your post.
