If you are going to use that title to achieve dramatic effect, it should read "Machete swinging man murdered by racist Illinois cops"

I work at the NBC station in central Illinois. We've been trying to find out more about Kaiyewu. When we did criminal checks, we got nothing. Who can we call to learn more about Toto? What was he doing here? Everything we seem to find points to Toto being a fine adult. Is Tobi his brother? Are his parents doctors in Missouri City?

Any help would be appreciated.

Doesn't matter if he was a good person or not. If he charge the police with a lethal weapon they have the right to defend themselves with lethal force.

Toto was an outstanding citizen. He was a smart, talented, hard-working young man. The alleged behavior is completely uncharacteristic of him. I'm not saying conspiracy theory, but I am still in shock over his death and the allegations made against him. This is not the person I knew. RIP Toto.

Yes I agree. I have known ToTo all my life. He was one of the most caring and generous people you would ever meet. He was level headed, strong willed, and very loving. Nothing in my mind leads me to believe that this is all the info the police have. Something is missing. Friends of mine had talked to Toto prior to the incident and nothing was out of the ordinary with him. We are going to truley miss you Toto..you were always a great friend

Toto was a great friend to me. In high school he abstained from drugs and alcohol. He respected me and my decision to do the same. I hope this receives much more attention than it currently is. I did notice however that in the last 6 months Toto was acting different on facebook. Please report more of what happened that night for those of us that are left with such shock and disbelief.

Toto was a smart student, good at football. I dont think he did this just to be doing this. There is something more to the story that the cops isnt telling.

Toto was not a violent man. Something went extremely wrong here. Toto always had a smile on his face and I had never heard a negative thing come out of his mouth. His death is being mourned around the Houston area like wild fire, and the truth should be known about this fine young man. He may have made a wrong turn in his life, or perhaps the police may have overreacted and reported wrong, but that does not change the fact that he was not a monster. He was a very smart and loved man. He will be missed, Many tears are being shed for him in Houston.

To answer your question Tobi is his brother and his other brothers name is Frank. There is more to this story than the cops are telling the public. Please find out the real true story.

This is all wrong. I have know both Toto, and his family for many years now, and I can assure you that this is not the behavior Toto would have. Never, had Toto shown violent behavior towards anyone. Nor had he wished harm on any living creature. He was probally the most peaceful human being I have ever known. I can assure you this situation is all wrong from what is being reported by the police. He would NEVER act in this manner. And I only hope, that further investigation is conducted on the police departments. Toto was well known and like by everyone he encountered in Houston, and I can assure you all of those people know that he would not act in this way. This is a tragedy that has deeply saddened his friends and his community.
RIP Toto, Your in Gods arms now.

That's a classless, disrespectful statement to Toto and his family. I'm not saying the police reports are true or not true. I'm saying that the alleged behavior is highly uncharacteristic of Toto. Everyone is trying to make sense of this and your tasteless comments are not appreciated.

I bet I can guess which Villa Grove IL police officer was provoked in the traffic stop. There are reports of an out of control cop in Villa Grove. I heard this is not the first time his attitude has provoked someone. Maybe this will open a investigation into his excessive traffic stops. Police profiling is a possibilty as well. I always said he's an accident waiting to happen and I cannot believe they let him walk a round with a weapon. I am so sorry to learn of this tragic outcome. My prayers are with the victims family and friends.

He didn't get out of the car man. He was in there when he died, how does a man charge from within a car?

Find out why he was in the car when he died. A story on one of Houston's local ABC reported that a witness saw the body taken from the car, was told that no one was getting out of the car. I mean, yeah...its great to back a story with good character, but it doesnt matter who he was if we know he was shot while in the car.
