As a resident of MA who lived through Romney's tenure as governor, I wanted to pass along what we experienced in the state while he was the governor. Romney has made many statements that he is not going to raise taxes and he will get more jobs going. He said exactly the same thing when running for governor. But that is not what we got after he was elected.

He raised fees and cut out portions of budgets which affected individual towns. To make up the money lost, towns raised their own fees. Property taxes increased on average of 35%. Companies were leaving the state because of these fees. MA was ranked 47th in jobs. He raised state gas tax .02 a gallon. State college tuitions rose 63% during his time as governor. He also left the state with a huge deficit. Mitt Romney is a great talker. But one needs to ask themselves, "If he was unable to reduce the deficit in one state, how is he going to do it with an entire country"?

Unlike Bain, he will not be able to make decisions on his own, he will need the support of both houses. We have already seen him ruffle feathers in foreign countries. Do you have faith in him on foreign affairs? Personally, I don't.

Please think carefully when you vote. Don't make the same mistakes we made here when we voted him in as governor.
