Construction eases up to help facilitate traffic, parade

Driving near or around Park Square has been easier this week thanks to the contractors practically halting the road construction to accommodate holiday weekend travelers and the Pittsfield Fourth of July Parade.

Yeah yeah.....deadline....this whole project in ANY OTHER municipality outside of Corruptsfield would've been done quite some time ago. I work right in the middle of this mess and there are nice days (not just single days, but many days in a row) when these guys are NOWHERE to be found.....! Why aren't they out there working 8am-5pm daily, taking Sunday off in order to get this hellish project done? Ridiculous.
