does anybody know the laws bout property lines

me and my husband buying a house in fort smith. we are unfortunte with having a nosey and medelsome neighbor.our property is seperated by a fence on the line.along the back yard theres alot of or should i say was a lot of shubbary making a kinda live privacy barrier on our property inside of our fence line. i was out of town for a week and upon my return i was raking and noticed that the fenceline had been sprayed for weeds yet they sprayed 4-10 feet into my back yard killing alot of the shrubbary.what is the law against them spraying the property line and my back yard. what is the law against them spraying chemicals in city limits. if you know please help i have asthema and broncitis and dont want these chemicals sprayed around me i also have dogs n cats that i dont want to get into these chemicals while they are outside.again please help

get your shotgun and kill their dog or cat.......then if that dont work shoot his wife :P jk

they dont have a dog or cat but that would work in ky,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,im not use to neighbors always up in my bussiness

If you are buying the house there is something that describes the property lines. You need to get that then call the police and make a complaint. Then possibly to small claims court.

the police were called out the other day when i had tried to get them to tell me what was sprayed, they said to go and file a civil suit

It is a shame to have neighbors like that, but if you don't put a stop to it now you will have bigger problems in the future I'm sure. File a civil suit, request damages for the destroyed shrubbery and full replacement cost by a qualified nursery. Depending on what you had, it could run into some serious dollars. That will let the guy know you are not going to tolerate any of his misdeeds, period.

Your new neighbors don't want your bitter jealous self in the neighborhood. You bring down the property values. Everything you post is NEGATIVE, about Auto zone, about Brittany, about your neighbors. Do you ever think that it MIGHT BE YOU and not everybody else????????

thaanx hun,,i had a landscaper to give me a price on the fixing n replacing of it n i have a lawyer who is handling everything,,,her jug of round up is turning very expensive,,,if i have to take it all the way to court its going to cost her my lawyers fees n court cost,,,i have a paper from the state that says our land had been sprayed n she addmitted to him that they had sprayed round up,,,shed be iggnorant to fight it in court
