I can't believe we used taxpayers money and that DA Jason Ashford felt the need to take this case to court!! Is it just because it's an election year??? This all came down to a he said, she said case. No real evidence other then a young boy who is having lurid dreams with a naked woman that looked like the babysitter. How many men out there have had dreams regarding women in their lives. We now have two young people with ruined lives and how can anyone be sure of what really happened.

Most child molestations are the child's word against the molester's but this time three children testified against the babysitter plus the babysitter testified and the jury knew she was lying. And seven year olds don't dream about naked women unless something is going on. Get a grip and see reality- she's in prison now for a reason.

I think so many times we use the term 'child molester' too loosley. But then at times when is a child molester a child molester? My son was only eight when his 'step sister' who was fourteen at the time completely raped him. Our son didn't tell about it until this year. He is fourty now. She thinks it was nothing and poo poos it. She lives in Ga. now and wants to join the band wagon and say an uncle molested her when what he did was scuffle with six kids in a tent. When his hand swept accross her chest, she decides thirty five years later to scream molestation! It's just like the catholic church. I have no doubt many preists molested those boys. But you bet your life, alot of them made false claims in order to get 'bucks'. If they see dollar signs, they run for it. There needs to be laws of limitations on this stuff. If you grew up and lived through it, then why rattle cages now? I was molested too as a child. I delt with it,got through it and did fine. Life goes on. Do we blame everyone we can when our life has bumps along the road? I don't think so. That goes for Cindy davis and lou too...

ok, so how does child molestation turn into a bump in the road? sheesh bad analogy. there are tons of people whom suffer from ptsd caused by csa.. get a grip dud. the reason these freaks get by with what they do is because of people like you whom don't believe are believe but just sweep it under the rug as if life has bumps in the road. i can't believe some people. these weirdos deserve to be executed and thrown to the wolves.. destroying a young life shouldn't be tolerated at any degree.
