Skinny Kenney was a great guy. Although the jury did not know this about the man that was convicted for defending his home.

So many times evidence brought to trial does not tell the entire story. Of course, that's of little help to Ken at this point.

I believe robbery was the motive in this case. It just ended in a bad way, Ken's going to prison and another man is dead.

Hey, why do you say Ken "was" a great guy??? he still is.
l am his French girl friend in Thailand. Got about 300 letters from him since he was locked up. l did write him a lot too.

His trial was completely messed up by his lawyers.
l do hope justice will prevail. And as soon as possible. He has paid too much for what he has done. Sure he killed someone but it was Ken or him.
Meanwhile, you should try and stay in touch with him, he needs his friends moral support. Thank you!

First of all, I just have to say that despite what that murderous bastard may have told you, he was not "defending his home". This is a very good example of shoot first, ask questions later. Phillip mistakenly went to Kenny's house. You need to get your facts straight before you talk about things that you have no idea about. For all he knew, that day was going to be like any other. He had no bad intentions whatsoever. I knew Phillip personally, he was like a father to me when I was a child. He was one of the most caring, considerate people I've ever met. And personally, I was just disappointed that your "friend" Kenny didn't get a death sentence. But then again, this will give him a lot of time to think about the atrocity that he has committed. I hope it eats away at him until he kills himself so he can burn in hell for eternity. I think it is funny that you would say he has "paid too much" because there is no punishment that could even come close to what that worthless piece of shit deserves. And if he ever gets out of prison alive, I am sure that someone will repay him for what he has done. He will know the real meaning of excruciating pain before the final moment of his wretched life.

For all of you who believe that Ken was defending his house from a stranger, your all idiots. If Phillip was a complete stranger then why did Ken call Phillip a few days before and ask Phillip to stop by his house? Phillip had a small construction based business and Ken told Phillip he had a job for him. If Phillip was a stranger to Ken them why did Ken stop by Phillips brothers house in the weeks prior or why did he work with Phillip in the months prior? How do I know all of this, you ask? Because I was living with my Uncle Phillip at the time all this happened. I was in the truck when Phillip answered the phone that day Ken called, I was there when Ken stopped by my other uncles house and spoke of the jobs he had worked with my uncle. So to all you idiots who believe Ken is a good guy and was just defending his house from strangers, get your facts straight. My Uncle Phillip was my best friend and role model. He was a great man who would help anyone out, that's why he went to Kens house that day, to help a so called friend. Ken deserved the death penalty but he will rot in prison and burn in hell and for that I'm grateful.

R.I.P Uncle Phillip

To the people that are defending this worhless piece of flesh......YOU HAVE NO CLUE OF THE TRUTH!!! Phillip was my ex-husband and he thought this worthless piece of shit was his friend. Ken called him and James to come over to his house to give him a bid on hauling off some shingles that day. They didn't know that they were walking into a trap because this tweeked-out idiot had buried his dope and couldn't find it. My son was supposed to go with them. Thank God he didn't. Phillip was a good, honest man. HE WAS NOT A THIEF!! Ken is a liar and he will answer to God for this brutal murder that he committed and until that day comes...... he has to live with what he did.

OMG after all these years I have found this. I live in Oklahoma and Phil was one of my best friends. I still remember the day his brother called and told me what happened. Matter of fact Phil called me that morning before he died. I was taking the kids to school and I didn't get the phone in time and he left me a message. I didn't get to call him back. He was the most giving man! He didn't have a bad bone in his body. He never talked ill of anyone even when someone did do him wrong . He saw the good in everyone. I still miss him and think of him quite often. I toast a shot of crown every year on his birthday!! One day I will see him again!!!
