I am a Clevelander but, I used to live there and knew the lady who was murdered. It is a quiet community but just a couple days ago a man was beaten to death in Mineral City just a few minutes away. It goes to show, It doesn't matter where you live, crazy things happen.

I am the sister of his last wife. Her case was left open because of unanswered questions....if he is guilty of that also...I pray he comes forward so my family can heal.

Glad the killer confessed and is in custody. But one lady in the article said that she rarely locks her doors, but would do so more religiously from now on. This is 2009--you mean to tell me that there really are still people in this world who leave their doors unlocked at night? I don't care where you live. Locking your doors is just basic common sense.

You took the words right out of my mouth, "Questioning." I'm amazed at the number of people I know who never lock their doors, and leave the keys right in the ignition of their car. They look at us like we're crazy when we tell them our door is locked even when we're home during the day, and ask us "What, do you think you still live in Dayton?" We tell them that we were glad we'd been locking our doors for many years before a man was robbed and murdered several hundred yards from our home a few years before we moved here. Wake up people, crime happens anywhere and everywhere. The sad reality is that it's the guy down the street or even someone you know that you should really be worried about, especially if you display a "Mayberry" attitude and pretend you're living within some kind of a small town safety zone.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Aries

Don't get embroiled in a bad-tempered skirmish today, for it might turn into more than that if you aren't careful. Everyone seems to be ratty and argumentative, but once you let the first spat take place it's effectively declaring open season. Even though things seem out-of-joint, keep your lines of communication open.
