Part of the reason Bolingbrook ranked so high is because all of the crime in the area is not reported thus skewing the crime rate and making the village look safe when we all know its not. When will the local papers and politicians come clean about are village and start reporting the truth and not some fabricated storys that make this town out to be some utopia.

As for your claim about the crime rate, when can we anticipate you posting the proof? Are you still talking about the drive-by shootings at BHS that NEVER happened? You remember, that was a claim made by the candidate that ran against Roger but could never provide any proof. LOL!

I know someone who had a house worth $275.000 and had to short sell it for 130,000. If the housing crashed so should have the homeowners taxes. Other communties have reduced there housing assesments, why not ours?

Ok, so then if you say property tax should go down, then the income of the Village goes furthe down. So then more cops and firemen get laid off, etc. Just because the assessment of value goes down, does that somehow mean the cost of services also reduce, umm no. This makes sense how?

That's why all the gang bang members come out here. They can live cheap in the town. Really some of the people walking around here are not dressed for legitimate jobs. There are definitely more Gang type people walking around now, then when I moved here 10 yrs ago.
