I think it's typically interesting that botchsky was whining to the judge that he wanted the "cliff notes version" of what the prosecution says his client did....because he's too lazy and probably too inept to read through the thousands of pages of documentation...

Drew Peterson won’t go on trial next month for the 2004 murder of third wife Kathleen Savio after his attorneys today sought a delay to give them time to study more than 40,000 pages of investigative reports.
His defense team also indicated today they plan to ask that the trial of the former Bolingbrook police sergeant be moved out of Will County to ensure Peterson receives a fair hearing in the heavily publicized case.

In addition, defense attorneys Bobo and Cookie said they will launch a pre-trial legal challenge against a controversial new state “hearsay” law that would allow statements Savio purportedly made before her bathtub drowning death to be used against Peterson at trial.

Just heard on Greta tonight that DP's fiance might be stepping out on DP with another cop! I believe it was reported that a cop that is/was working on his case asked her out. Could be just to see if she has any interesting information about DP she might devulge.

They showed a clip of her walking to her car in shoes with at least a five inch heel. She seemed to be having a difficult time staying upright! LOL

Chrtisine has had a major 'make over'

hair, make up, stylish attire, and has lost weight

my first reaction was is this the same girl

some guys see a diamond in the rough, particularly in a younger girl and like to make them hot .. DP did it with Stacy

Christine in person is perhaps a girl that just turns on cops .. hey, it's risky business for an investigator to make a move on a suspects former girl, particularly one who could be a witness

Hi Stanford, I agree it did appear as though Christine had had a make-over, but she should really lose those 5 inch heels. She looked like she was having a very difficult time walking in them.

The guy who asked her out for dinner and a movie is/was a detective investigating DP. I just wonder if there isn't an ulterior motive for asking her out. Don't know why he would risk getting involved with a possible witness before DP even goes to trial.

the only ulterior motive would be the cops libido .. police management would never authorize a dinner date scenario in this matter .. perhaps Christine has some seductress game in her .. or was Brodsky setting this up .. could he have been behind the make over

or was she freeelancing, trying in some way to help DP .. some have surmised that he is holding some big time pursausive (svengali) powers with young women

she did not do this costly make over on her own, nor would she have the discipline to break with her old slovenly pattern

police agencies have some very strict guidelines on male offficers interviewing female witnesses

in Los Angeles, cops get in trouble for turning a business contact with a female into a social contact even on things as minor as a traffic stop

Cops set up stings all the time. Maybe they want to find out if DP "confessed" anything to Christine.

He tells young girls what they want to hear. He was probably very attentive, plied them with jewelry, cars, nice clothes. Took them to nice places, etc., etc., etc.. Young girls eat that stuff up especially when it's coming from an older man. Little do they know his nicities turns into control and abuse. He picked on the young ones because the women his age don't need any of that phoney come-on to feel validated.

I wonder if Christine is working or getting money from DP thru his son, Steve?

You're right! I had forgotten that Gloria was representing her. Amber Frey comes to mind, but I don't think she changed much more than her hair style.
