Great addition to Alamogordo. The current location is small and confined. I've been a member for over twenty years.

They should show some respect for all the lives that were lost at that location. The wrong site was picked.

My kids were both born in the hospital that once stood there...

That could be a can of worms, Perf.

Then they might want to know how you made the initial deposit.

What about celebrating the lives that were born there?

Nah, it's just a building. I did have lots of fond memories; trained through the various departments there when I was a high school senior for health occupations education class. Got to watch babies being born, observed surgeries, worked in the lab and pharmacy area there, etc. Made me realize that the health field can a difficult occupation emotionally.

But Alamogordo needed a new hospital. The new one is a nice facility.

Lives were unfortunately lost in the hospital buliding and that building was torn down. OFCU is not trying to show any disrespect to any lives lost there, but like someone previously stated there were lives started there also, and lives saved there. Shouldn't that land not be used to better serve the community and the needs of the people here in Alamogordo?

Maybe the parking lot will be easier to get out of. I like all the people I have dealt with at OFCU.

I dont think that the property should go to waste just because some people have passed away at that hospital. Ya it is sad but I think that you need to move on and cherish other positive memories. I am also pretty sure that the credit union is going to be doing a small memorial on the corner of the property. If you ask me that is very nice of them considering they didn't have to do that at all!

It isn't like Otero is moving into the old building. They are building a new one from the ground up. No place for ghost to hide. It will be interesting to see if the new building will help the workers be better. I haven't been in that office in along time because the workers there are so rude.

Poo! My grandmother died in the old GCMH, but that does not make it disrespectful to use the land for another business. If you are tied to where someone died, you are misplacing your sentiment. Honor their life and memory, NOT the place they died.

They are not tellers. They are service reps. Duh. I'm with you. I think the cute ones are Michael and Steven.

Sorry! I meant the girls. haha

Don't pay much attention to the guys. But the Jessica one is very cute! I thought service reps were the ones who sat in the front? and The ones behind the counter were tellers?

I wasn't sure so I asked the lady who lives next door. She works for OFCU as a secret shopper. She said the ones that stand behind the counter are called service reps. The ones in the offices are called officers. The ones at the front desk are called service specialist and the ones that anser the phones are called service agents.

She said they are hiring more secret shoppers. I might have to check it out.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Aries

Christmas Eve finds you happy and eager to get the most out of the day. You're in a rather sentimental mood, so if you've got time you'll relish the chance to watch a favourite film, especially if it means you've got to get out the hankies. A friend's kindness or sensitivity will delight you - and make you wonder how you can reciprocate.
