Help available for bed-wetting issues
#1 Mar 5, 2013
For both the mother and son, take them to the doctors to see if they have any underlying medical problems that may play a role in their bedwetting. Also invest in a waterproof mattress cover or pad to keep the bed dry. For the mother, you can give her protective underwear - it pulls up and down like regular underwear. For the son, use a bedwetting alarm. It'll teach him to wake up to a full bladder and use the bathroom instead of wetting the bed. You can find more information here: http://www.nationalincontinence.com/s/nightti... and http://justbedwettingalarms.com/choosing-an-a... . Good luck!

I would agree with all of the above although for me the bedwetting alarm never worked. I always slept so deeply and still do for that matter that when I wasusing the alarm by the time it had woke me and everyone else in the house I had emptied my bladder and soaked the bed. My mother decided in the end it was better just to let me sleep through my wetting and deal with the wet sheets etc in the morning.
