And perhaps you need to read a little further, because I see something completely different on this thread and that is most people disagree with your line of thinking on law enforcement. Maybe it's time for you to retire from the force and go sell Avon or something a little less anger-provoking to you!

I don't think you're paranoid. The right to drive, that is driving for non-commercial purposes, has been reduced to a privilege. Without a car and a license, people cannot function in US society, especially with its urban sprawl.

Well, my friend, the "right" to do anything in this country, or worldwide for that matter, is compromised by the governing forces of this world. There is no 'right to drive'. It's considered a privelege by the governing bodies.
