Relocation

We are planning on relocating from New York to Boise in April and i am just curious as to where the best "family" neighborhoods are. What areas should we stay away from,etc

OK well i just crossed nampa off the list. Moving away from NY to get my kids away from things like that! Narrowed it down to Meridan and Boise

If you're relocating to Boise, why look at Nampa?
I'm from Saratoga Springs NY and have lived in Boise, for 13 years, trust me when I say what makes the news out here will pale in comparrison to what takes place in NY. You will find there is really no "bad" place to live here in Boise, be prepared to enjoy a nice lifestyle.

It's kind of hard to answer but
I would not recommend near the downtown area
or Garden City.

The South end is where the State Capitol building
and Boise State University are located.
Alot of older neighborhoods and college students now.

Julia Davis Park, Ann Morrison Park, The Boise Zoo, Museum, Discovery Center and the Train Depot are also in this area. Very beautiful!
I grew up in South Boise.
