"Public" sidewalks, used by the Public would appear to indicate where any responsibility is, not with a private owner, who the Gov. wants to Pay more taxes, and not add to the Welfare rolls. Unrealistic, Stupid head-in-the-sand ordinance, lacking any common sense so like Gov. "authorities" on public tax payer backs. The public uses the sidewalk, then let the public help maintain them; or the Public Authorities, and unlike those welfare Gov. parasites, the home owner is paying Taxes for something? is working to pay the mortgage, real prop. taxes, income taxes & to generate income to furnish private sector JOBS & purchase from private businesses thus paying even more taxes, that aren't Public Welfare Gov. type Pretend Jobs adding to the taxpayer burdens.
