Wow it looks as tho you both are really exploring some of the possibilities. I need to go back and read the stuff to get back on track. I too have so many questions, maybe you can help me think them thru.

Hey there Mochagirl...welcome back. Sorry I couldn't remember to spell your name right and to hear you are or were sick. I hope all is well with you now. I will say prayers for your recovery in-case you still aren't well yet. It seems that the only thing new on this topic is the new theories, but who knows maybe someone will come out with the truth and Ms. Wells can be found one way or the other.

"Whodoyou thinkyour"...Sometimes people state what their feelings are at the time they post without reading everything that has been posted, some just may have a theory, but then again you could be right in thinking that 'beenthere' may know something and doesn't want to state any information. I feel that this (your Family) did everything they could to find Ms. Wells to this day. How anyone could malign a family who has suffered the most devastating tragedy in anyone's life is beyond me. I keep praying that this case will be solved; and the person or persons responsible for whatever has happened to Ms. Wells comes forward. I do believe in miracles and the power of prayer. I know that NO ONE can go their entire life with guilt and remain quiet. It all comes out in the end. Let's pray its soon. God Bless!

THANK YOU "Who do you..."!! I agree with your response to been there but had not posted a response due to my anger, acusing us for not being diligent in our search. Also angering was Been There's naming family members in the post.
NO ONE has a right to judge how anyone deals with a tragedy. You are incapable of knowing how you will respond until you have to deal with it.
Denise is MY Cousin. I can only imagine if she were one of my children.
BEEN THERE do not judge us.
You do not know all of the facts!! I have a feeling you know a lot of Haskell gossip!
Also for every one else. Our family reads this periodically; most of us choose not to respond.

Its Me and whodoyou thinkyour...God Bless you and your family for the faith that you keep in your hearts. I pray for your strength and courage to continue to endure the unimaginable. I know that if this was my child missing I too would be angered at the accusations that have been made here, especially if the person or persons making them wasn't truly knowledgeable as the closest family members would be.
I am not a family member nor am I Law Enforcement, I am nothing more than a concerned American citizen who is looking for the truth of what happened to this missing young woman.
I guess some people speak before they have all the facts about something they know nothing about. You know what they say about 'Assume'. Unless they have facts and as you said they may be hiding something. I also know that just because you're a family member and you are consistently speaking to Investigators of this case doesn't necessarily mean you have to post what was said or asked. Sometimes on many cases police ask the family not to mention some things. I have spoken my peace on this issue enough. God Bless!

Another ten days has gone by since my last post and no News on what is going on with this missing persons case or News from the police doing the investigation of it. It's too bad that the LE in Carlisle only do a press conference on an anniversary of the beginning of the case. I would hound the LE if it were my family and try to find a way to place information on line to get the public help. I guess that's what Mochagirl was trying to do. I don't think Mochagirl is family but was a case that they couldn't find an answer to. How frustrating it must be to the family and to this woman's son, I think some where I read that Ms. Wells has a son, if I'm wrong I apologize deeply to the family. God Bless you all!

To exit the turnpike in PA and try to connect with Rt.78/81 can be confusing. Perhaps she got disoriented and headed the wrong way once she found RT.78/81, which would have taken her toward the Carlisle area.

Maybe her friend Mellisa suggested to meet at the Pike Motel because it was a location known by her, or a friend of hers who made the trip with her, to meet Wells.

If I had to guess, I would think Denise met with foul play from a stranger she ran into at the McDonalds, along the way there or back to the motel, or at the motel.

Which leads me to a question for family members: Did Denise ever pick up hitch hikers? Or maybe offer a ride to a stranger in need?

I looked at a map and I'm wondering if you meant highways 76/81? It is possible for someone not familiar with the highways to get turned around; and you had a good question as to whether Ms. Wells maybe did pick up a hitch-hiker or maybe had a friend along with her. But, from what I've read on this case, from what was published in newspaper articles that Ms. Wells apparently ran out of gas on the turnpike by a local man who drove her to the gas station. She was alone. She told that man that she was headed back to Oklahoma. He gave her directions to get back on the Highway. So, that tells me that she had made it to New Jersey to see her friend. I'd have to do the math to figure out the time line again, but from what I figured out thus far, Ms Wells had already made it to New Jersey, possibly spent 8-10 hours there with her friend, but the story her friend told police doesn't add up for the time line, according to what Melissa said that Ms. Wells called her and said that she was going to McDonald's and coming back to go to sleep. Inconsistencies all over the place. But I have a feeling that the police are on the trail of what happened to Ms. Wells and soon the person or persons who are hiding something about this young woman's disappearance will be arrested. Please don't think I know anything about this case or have inside information regarding this case as I do NOT. I go by my instincts and they come from GOD. God Bless you all.

Mochagirl...It's good to see that you're still around. After your last post I began thinking that with you being ill that something had happened to you. After all you're the one who started this posting regarding Ms Wells. Wouldn't want anything to happen to you either. As for your posts I don't think the Moderator is the one that is deleting your posts. If you look above each post there is an area that says:Judge It!; Report Abuse; Reply>>. This is only my opinion, but maybe someone who was reading your post didn't like whatever it was you said and they reported it as Abuse. If I'm wrong, I apologize. Or maybe you forgot to type the # code. Just a thought. I am shocked that more people aren't posting regularly who have posted before. Or maybe they have and their posts got deleted also. Carlisle Native, I have gotten discouraged as well. I notice that many of us havent posted and things got alittle stale.

I am speculating since I dont have all the facts but I cant give up. How else can we have a discussion if we dont consider possibilities. I would be the last to accuse an innocent person but there are several things that dont make sense as I posted in the comments that the Moderator removed.

Sometimes the same things being said in different ways may jar someones memory, maybe someone has been afraid to come forward, maybe someone will speak up if we touch a nerve.

For what ever reason, if we give up, who will carry the torch.

But BeeGee spoke up with some interesting possiblities and it stirred my thoughts. I read thru the timeline again, and it seems so obvious that the answer could be in plain sight.

Well said Mochagirl...Glad to see you back posting again. I believe that there is a person out there that may read this and decide to state what they know or heard. I agree that the postings here have gone stale but if we give up there might not be another chance to bring Ms. Wells home to her family. Well, we won't bring her home but some relevant facts may help the police who are investigating this missing person's case. Does anyone know if they are still investigating, or has this become another cold case? Man I think about Ms. Jaycee Dugaard, and what a miracle it was and is for her to be found ALIVE. Some friends told me about this topix, my mother dated a married man years ago. He was from new jersey and after she told him to get lost she heard he was hanging around the carlisle area. Next time i talk to her will ask what ever happened to him.

Son, Welcome to the Topix. I believe Ms. Wells dated a married man from Oklahoma, if I'm not mistaken, not from Carlisle. But, stick around you may have some information that might be helpful some time later down the road. I say that simply because of your mother could tell you something about the man she dated that maybe have a small link to this case...Let's just hope and pray the answers are given soon. Bless your heart for sharing. Its easy to stretch to find a solution, but You never know... all it takes is one good lead.

Would there be any other connections to this case?

Hi Carlisle Native. I can only assume you may be the moderator. I have no hard feelings toward you but I cannot understand why you removed my post for the 3rd time.

I agree that speculating may not advance the case, but then please tell me what you think may advance the case.

And Please tell me what I am saying that makes you remove my post.

As I stated, sometimes things said in a different way brings back memories that could help or if we are on to something, someone may get nervous.
