Good riddence. I absolutely reject the concept that the perp had to attack these girls before the police can act. If that comes to a jury trial and I am on that jury, he walks.

Am I the only one here that thinks the girls are probably at fault here? My guess is that the girls bumped his bike with their car in the parking lot or at a stop light. They were probably scared and didn't want to get into trouble so they made up a story to get rid of the guy who was following them home to get their information. Who in their right mind would run into a car with a motorcycle....and a little Ninja 250 at that! It would be a death wish to do something that stupid. Plus, how can shooting someone in the back while they are riding a motorcycle be considered self defense in any way shape or form?

Sad that two teenagers caused a young man to be shot in the back. I can only hope that the father of these two teenagers spends the rest of his life behind bars. It will be interesting if the girls will get charged as accessories to the murder as well as they should be.

They were both wrong.... but was it worth losing their lives over? One dead and one probably going to jail for a very long time.

But, why is it anyone can have a gun, shoot in any direction, at any time, at anything, and not think it as unlawful when they do it? A Self defense claim went out the window when this man fired from is property onto public property while a vehicle was still on public property, not coming down his driveway. It was also not self defense when the man was standing in his driveway waiting on the cyclist. He was the aggressor.

Does any one condeming this poor motorcycle rider take time to read the entire story. The girls have been caught in at least 4 different lies and none of the evidence supports either one of the girls stories. This guy took it upon himself to play the role of vigilante and took justice into his own hands. At no time did the rider make an overt action to suggest to anyone that he was going to act in a violent or reckless manner. C'mon people read the entire story.

A motorcycle doesn't "ram" a car. That's ridiculous. A more likely scenario"
Brats cut off motorcyclists and cause accident. Instead of calling cops/exchanging insurance, the brats takeoff. The guy follows them. The brats calls daddy and says a mad man is chasing us. Daddy waits and murders the guy.

The guy had a complaint 2 years earlier of firing on teenagers.

The motorcyclist was my friend from Highschool, a very good kid. I believe with all my heart that he meant no harm to those girls, he was not like that at all! I believe they hit his bike, and he tried to get their info, and they called their dad, and told him that someone was following them to try to get him in trouble. It's just terrible, and I hope those girls feel guilty for the rest of their life!
