I feel for the family, I know someone who died when they tried to over-correct to back on the road, about 20 yrs ago, he wasn't the driver, it wasn't the drivers fault, it was an accident. God has reason for EVERYTHING, have faith. my condolences to the family.

My condolences to the family, I knew someone that died in this manner, 20 yrs ago, it's not the drivers fault, it's an accident. After all these years I finally know why it happened, it was Gods will, and there is a reason for everything, have faith and believe in that.

I'm very sorry for their loss, but I agree with him. He was 13 years old. His grandmother was driving. It was her responsibility to make sure he stayed buckled in. It is tragic that he died. It's horrible that they have to learn this lesson like this. God has a reason for everything right?

Not the time for that kind of recrimination. I feel sure the grandmother is being worse on herself than even insensitive know-it-alls like you.

{rospect, Tn. You ingrate, you need to back-off this one. A family has lost an only son and no matter who or what is at fault nothing is going to bring him back. May he rest in peace and walk alongside his Maker.

As for you, I hope the good Lord sees the evil in you heart and judges you accordingly.

I was 3 cars behind this accident and one of the first on the scene. Accidents happen. Many of us on the scene immediately behind the car and witnesses to the accident were nurses, ER nurses and a doctor. It was told to us by his cousin that he was taking a nap in the back seat, lying down. Such a tragedy, but as believers, 'there is a time and purpose for everything under heaven.' Ecclesiastes 3:1 It is very difficult as a healthcare worker to respond and be unable to do anything to give assistance, except pray. Pray for the healing of this family.

He took off his seatbelt to take a nap!
It's no one's fault for what happen. God has a reaosn for everything and maybe none of us understand why this happen to a sweet christian like Peyton, and maybe we'll never kno. But he's in a better place.(:

God doesn't micromanage our lives, in my opinion. This tragedy occurred because Betty Williams lost control of her car, not because God wanted to take her grandson. Human error is the cause of most "accidents" in our lives. We blame God because we don't want to take responsibility or because we feel so much empathy for the person who caused the accident that we don't want to assign blame. I think we should all pray for the Williams family. They are suffering unimaginable pain right now, and they are not going to be helped by people tellling them that this was God's will.
