Seems like this a waste of Boaz's money to try to enforce this . The officers(what few they have)time could be better spent chasing real criminals crooks, and crankers. If it's unopened,an adult has a right to carry it back home without fear of the Gestapo. The toads voted to keep sending liquor tax money to Sardis and Albertville that could have been used for better city services and schools.

So does this mean Boaz can arrest you if you drive through the city with unopened beer or other alcohol while on the way to your home? If so then they are in for a lawsuit. Even when ALL of Marshal lcounty and every city in Marshall county were dry it was legal to go to Huntsville and buy beer or liquor and bring it back for your own consumption. The city leaders and police chief of Boaz are fools to think they can enforce this and are fools for even thinking about it.

I agree, I saw in the sand mountain reporter where several people were charged in Boaz for illegal posession of alcohol. This is crazy!

Yup!!! It will wind up in court and cost Boaz $$$$$$$. They must have a nestegg hidden away somewhere for legal fees....... Maybe funded by the bootleggers??? They will eventfully step on the wrong toes and get squashed like a bug. Hide and watch.

OK folks, the threat was made, so how many holiday revelers have been arrested for bringing back spirits across the line from Sardis or Albertville?
