I sometimes wonder why anyone obeys the law in Blytheville, you can do whatever you want, get arrested and be back on the street in a week to do it all over again. There are known users and meth cookers and the other dope dealers that get away with the crap day in and day out. It's frustrating to the people who actually do what they are supposed to!

Your family steals from you but you bad mouth the same cops that proably took your report and helped you swear out a warrant. I think that qualifies you as an ungrateful [email protected]

I think that there are not near enough cops in Blytheville. Double the Police force and crime will drop.

They won't put them in jail because of the money.

No City jail.

Don't want to pay the County to house them.

The City leaders just want the money paid to the City court as a fine.

Then no jail time. It is a shame, and the honest working people are being scammed and having their business and property thieved over and over.

What leadership we have here.

Why don't ya build one[a jail]! Take one of those vacant buildings in town, put those prefab concrete cells in, stack em like blocks inside of it.. that's easy enough to do.

OK THERES MORE TO THE JOB THAN SWEARING OUT A WARRANT! DUH! how about following up and finishing the job instead of just doing paperwork? Thats the problem with these cops they think as long as they come when we call them which is after the crime has been commited then their job is done.Lets go get these thugs and put them away so they can't hurt us or anyone else again.

Is the jail empty cause cops aren't doing their job, or is it to full cause they are.

actually the bank pressed charges but my point is the blytheville police only pay attention to the drug dealers when there are tons of other criminals in this pathetic town... they are so worried bout the drug dealers but what about the users... u take them downtown and let them go after they snitch then they jus go right back out and start stealin and go to another dope dealer... if there weren't so many users here there wouldnt be so many dealers and most of the time its the users that are breaking in peoples home and cars... STOP LETTIN THE CRACK SMOKERS OFF JUST CUZ THEY SNITCH MAKE THEM DO THEIR TIME JUST LIKE THEIR DEALER

My sentiments exactly! It's the users who not only destroy their own lives but destroy the lives of the children, family and friends. If you do the crime you should have to serve the time. It's ridiculous how much is allowed to continuously go on in Blytheville, you can file a report, press charges and then never have BPD ever bother to even follow up on your case. Way to watch out for the citizens of this community!

the crazy thing is they let these people out to snitch and while they out they bring more crime to the town. like that young boy from osceola last year that shot the guy in the had at the night club. sad thing he just got busted for drugs and they let him out to snitch on some people. that little time cost someone their son.

you are really telling the truth there! my family has worked hard to have nice things, to care for our family and just live in peace! we have had things stolen like food, rims, my grandmother bought my dad a guitar back in the 50's and he kept it on the wall, AMP that I had to really save a lot for and after all that gave a police reports never to hear from them again!

OMG what rock did you crawl out from under sounds like you want a baby sitter. What police department calls you back when there isn't anything to tell you. I lived in different cities and had wrecks and break-ins called the police took the report and never heard back from them and never expected to unless they caught someone. Do like everybody else does go get a copy of your compaint to give to your insurance company. I have never seen a town that expects so much from all their public services without so much as an ounce of support. Blytheville sux because of the citizens not the police.

We expect to hear back to get a follow up on how things are proceeding with our cases, that's why there are detectives in office. Whether our things are stolen or our love ones are murdered we as citizens expect to be followed up with! I shouldn't have to investigate my own break-in, I have enough to do with the whole work, family, life thing. We have lost faith in our local judicial system because it consistently fails us, if you would like me to show support for my local offices it's going to require a lot more than just excepting that's how things are because that's the system. I won't accept that crime
goes unpunished continously in this town.
