I don't remember which is which by the name, but for a regular mani/pedi -- the place on Main next to the furniture rental place (where the old Piggly Wiggly used to be) is the WORST place I have ever gotten my nails done. Anywhere. I gave them two chances, just in case, and the polish literally peeled off of my nails within a day.

The place out by Wal Mart is better -- the little Asian girl who is always there will talk your ear off, but she's not bad. Pro Nails did a good job a couple of years ago when I was back here and used them, but they seem to be understaffed now. And they're shop seems a little down-scale compared to where I usually go.(I live out of state now).

Good luck!

If you're willing to travel, try pro nails in Jonesboro. Ask for Devin. The best I have seen in 11 years.

what do they normally charge? I know the price varies but not by much. My salon that I go to charges $30 for a pedicure but they take their time and really give you your moneys worth. It takes them around 30 mins atleast. Is this about how long the other salons take?/ prices?

Fashion Nails is the worst! I had the same experience as the poster above who had the polish peel off. It didn't even take it a day to start peeling. Waste of money!

Diamond Nails did a much better job, and the quality was much better. I don't know if Fashion Nails just uses cheap polish in an OPI bottle or if they dilute the polish so much it's worthless, but I've never had polish just peel off like that -- the whole nail at a time.

Diamond Nails charged, I think, about 40 - 45 dollars for a mani/pedi. I can't remember what Fashion Nails charged, but I think it was about the same. But, as I said, it was a total waste with them because I had to go and get another mani the next day because of the polish issue.

I guess when you work there, it's not a problem to re-do your polish every day. Not all of us have time to mess with that!

I tried fashion nails for a mani/pedi and I did not like it at all they used a drill on my toe nails even though I asked them not too! Now I go to Pro Nails and my nails are not too thick and they take their time on your pedicure! Its worth the wait...

I use the place next to Michaels Jewelry store on 6th street((love them)) and the girl that does them over by walmart massages you more but they both do a really good job and its like 30 or 40! I hate the place by rent one.. they are rude and they are the nastiest place in town! I would go without before i went to them.. If you go there i promise you will regret it but ny does do a really good job on designs!
