sOOzy says that the farmer in question only leased the land and therefor has none of the legal rights of a lessee and when was the last time she was wrong? Be glad when she gets back from her Antarctica vacation and straightens out AT&T and Ritter.

with the amount of industry here that brings in travelers from all over the world, Blytheville would be smart to approve this. Sadly, I feel that the backward, uneducated mentality here will do nothing but keep this town in the dark ages. The residential population has fled from this town for just that reason. No progress for Blytheville unless it is in the pockets of the ancient, sticks in the mud that hold this town back.

There are several things in place, studies made, proposals laid out, etc. SITTING ON SHELVES AND FILE CABINETS. Blytheville doesn't have to re-invent the wheel to get up to speed - just GET OUT OF ITS RUT.
Just sayin

Political Phone Tower agenda going on for one of the chosen ones to put more money in their pockets.
2nd--When people 's rights to speak are taken away-then it's time for the people to Act and remove the ones that want to silence them..One big problem with the local officials, just want to take your money and for you to be quiet and not ask questions about what they use (misuse) it for.

Verizon activated real 4G LTE today around 5 o'clock in Blytheville. Very very fast. Makes Ritters fastest cable seem a little slow!:-)

Verizon- first with 3g, and first with 4g. Why waste time with AT&T.

What AT&T calls 4G here currently, is really 3G. AT&T (and T-Mobile) started calling their 3G networks 4G over a year ago. Their technology is called HSPA+. Prior to adding the +, they called their networks 3G. That just further adds confusion with all the 3 and 4G technologies available. And it doesn't help that Apple and a few other phone manufacturers caved in to AT&T and T-Mobiles requests and designed the software on their phones to show "4G" on HSPA/HSPA+ networks. Even LTE is classified as a 3.9 G technology.
Real 4G will come in the next 2-5 years, and will offer throughput more than twice the speed of even the fastest cable internet provider...but they'll probably call it 5G
