How much did it cost u in gas round trip....Thats one of the things wrong here, people live here and work here, but spend their money elsewhere...how do you think thats gonna work in the end? Better start looking for am employer in Jonesboro...Maybe Red Lobster is hiring....and if u have the money to eat at Red Lobster, then what is $20 to you? Support Blytheville Local Business!!!!

ppl would shop here if there was somewhere to shop, and before you start screaming about Main street have you really ever shopped there? There is nothing on Main street any real ppl want.those stores are for the old or rich,so where does that leave everybody Wal-mart or JC Penny's.I've lived here for over 15 yrs now, nothing has changed. If I get the chance I'm shopping somewhere else too.

I would rather spend 2 hours in a car and pay $20 gas money,Then help this focking town pay back money that was stolen in the first place!! For the record I dont spend any money in local stores here. I buy everything from out of town or online. I will start shopping here when Blytheville starts paying my bills.

Why would i have to find employment else where "how do you think thats gonna work in the end?" What does this have to do with anything? U don't have $20 to spend? Sounds like u need to move and get a job that pays, u stupid redneck

If everyone shops somewhere else then eventually this town will die folks.
U gonna drive to Jonesboro for groceries and gas?

I used to shop here until one of the Main Street shop owners talked about my family with me in the store. You never know who's related to who around this town so maybe calling someone names and belittling someone in your store isn't so good for business. The situation has left me bitter. I don't want to spend a dime in Blytheville.

Went to Cape this past weekend and bought some building supplies at Menards. Not going to say exactly what I got but their price $9.77 ea. lowes price $17.98 ea. on top of that a $3 rebate per. And sales tax was 7.975% compared to 10.25%.
