Just wanted to thank the drug task force for an amazing job. A couple more of those busts and Blytheville may actually turn around.

Agreed. Alot of people in town think they didnt have any involvement but I know a few and was told they have been working that case for over a year. I guess they finally the right people on the task force and has helped tremendously. I guess bobby ephlon took over and the ass kicking began. Kudos to them all. The atf helped but you have to know the main ones to go after and our local guys made it happen I also heard the majority of the indicted will spend a sustansial amount of time in fed prison. Good job men. I hope you continue to knock down doors and help reclaim my city.

From what im hearing alot of them were big. Not your normal street corner crack dealer. Most were older who were giving the young guns the drugs to sell it for them. I heard the federal guide lines require offenders to do 85% of their sentence and they are all facing 10 yrs or more. Keep up the good work guys.

Alot of people think that the FEDS did all the work in this investigation but if it wasn't for the local DTF it would not have been successful. It's the local task force officers who built the cases and knew the major players to target. The FEDS just provided the funding and state of the art equipment to assist in the case and from what I hear this was just the begining. I hope it's true and more case are made on these scumbags.

I would like to personally think them for waiting 2 years to bust them.Nothing beats living next door to a crack house for 2 years waiting for something to b done. And they took 2 pounds of real drugs off the streets, wonder how many pounds were sold in the 2 years. Not to mention there was no mention of money being seized.Cops letting drug dealers deal so they can come take the money equals drug dealers working for cops.

How many times did you report this crack house? Also you have to realize and understand the 4th amendment of the constitution. Police need probable cause to execute a search warrant. Most of the people that complain are the same ones who refuse to cooperate with the police. The DTF is under a new agent in charge and also have new agents on the team. The paper said that it was a 2 year investigation. As far as the money goes, it's not like it goes into the officers pocket so that doesn't make sense. I wonder how much dope they bought building the case. Nothing is never good enough for some people. If they arrested 500 people you'd probably complain about that. I foresee big changes with this new crew and appreciate their work.

House reported several times by several different neighbors.I imagine you live in a nice neighborhood were you can pick up your phone and they will be there in a minute.Funny thing is I live close to the police station and it takes them an hour to get here but 15 cop cars will be out by the interstate on a traffick stop.I live in a high crime neighborhood so you think they would at least drive by here but they don't.You are just one of the sheep who they are tricking into believing they are doing something. If they would bust them instead of waiting until they have made a million dollars they would be doing something.2 years of selling dope to get a handful of people who the majority of will walk away with probation while law abiding citizens suffer and watch there neighborhood go down the drain. Thanks bunches.

Real truth you need to familiarize yourself with the federal judicial system, these handful of people you refer to were all high level drug dealers. Like I said before you must also understand that people are protected by constitutional rights. Look up your 4th one. Officers cannot kick down a door on Kentucky street because of your hearsay. I know who you are and quite frankly officers responded numerous times when you called because you didnt like your black neighbors. Ever heard the story about the little boy that cried wolf? Now go take on the day.

Too many times the crooks and drug dealers have more rights than the innocent neighbors. And more than once, the cops kicked in a door and cuffed the occupants, only to learn they were on the wrong street.
Black neighbors aren't a problem, but heavy traffic to and from any house because drugs is something noone wants on there street.

My gosh people the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT along with 2nd dtf just conducted a huge successful operation where if I recall correctly 19 men were indicted and 10 were listed in a 54 count conspiracy indictment as well as over 20 state felony indictments and its still not good enough. This aint Mayberry and never will be. Applaud your local pd and drug task force for their efforts, sounds like they're doing a hell of a job or at least starting to. Some people would bitch if you gave them a million dollars in a paper sack because they wanted plastic.

The "Jonesboro Sun" reported that all were on a bus headed to Little Rock before BPD knew bust was on. Only way to catch the ones that "know" cops in a biblical way, by paying their 10%, gross not net even? Go sOOzy! Anybody else here think them two OO's remind them of big ta ta's?

no officers can't arrest someone when there's no officers there.there all out at Wal-Mart I guess it takes the whole force to write out a ticket.I'm black so I don't see how me not liking my neighbors has anything to do with race. I don't like them cause they sell poison.

Jonesboro Sun is a newspaper, made of paper and ink, I guess the "link" would be go to Jonesboro and go to the Jonesboro Sun right behind St. Benards to the east. Buy the paper from the day after the bust and it has a large article about it.(: or subscribe so you can search their archives?
