Hello Blytheville Topix! How is everyone! Hope everyone is having a blessed and joyous day on this 13th day of January 2011!

I need to get to the point of my post, but first I would like to say my heart and prayers go out to the many, many bereaved families we have in the city of Blytheville! My heart especially goes out to the many families of murder victims whose murders have not been solved!

According to the Blytheville Police Department, their statistics for solving murders and violent crimes in our city are much higher than I calculate! Their percentage rate is somewhere around 99 or 100 percent! WEll! It seems like Blytheville Police Department is solving violent crimes-Rapes, Robberies, Murders, etc.-in another city or they are just trying to make themselves look good! The number of unsolved murders, not counting other violent crimes, in our city is pnenomenal! Let's take a retrospective look; In November, around November 11, 2010, there was a young woman found dead in the 1900 block of Chickasawba! To this date no one has been arrested! On December 30, an elderly man was found murdered in the 2100 block of Marguerite! To this date, no one has been arrested! On last week, I believe it was January 05, 2011, a young man was murdered in the 600 block of East Rose Street and to this date no one has been arrested!

Why haven't anyone been arrested for these murders? One reaon is BPD is so easy to write off crimes in the Black Community as Drug-related! Therefore, they put little or no effort in solving these type crimes! Well, no matter what the reason, all of these victims are someones loved one(s)! I feel like this; had these murders took place in north Blytheville, around Judge Langston's mother's home or near Dr. Campbell's home, Wedgewood, Briarcrest or Fox-Crossing Subdivision, there would be a whole lot more effort and energy put into these cases and someone would be arrested and charged by now!

In the murder case on Chickasawba, the BPD didn't even go to the neighbors and question anyone about their relationship with this young lady! I know there were neighbors in the same apt. community who would smoke cigarettes with her and visit her for other reasons from time-to-time! BPD did question any of these people! All they did was learn of her way of living and write the murder off!

As a matter of fact, a Black Man cannot be seen walking in one of the subdivisions as stated above; the police will be called and he will be logged as 20J(Suspicious)Some of you have a scanner, therefore you know what I'm talking about and that I'm telling the truth!

In closing The Black Community in our city need to come together and stop the violence! Our leaders need to address these concerns in Public Forum; churches, schools, street corners, etc. Our citizens need to put more pressure on our Police Chief and entire police department to solve these violent crimes! BPD need to start putting more effort into solving violent crimes instead of knocking on one's door because he failed to show in court on a misdemeanor offense!

Sincerely,

The Great Bishop!

It all starts at home. We can address this in the schools, churches, etc.. but nothing is going to change until the parents change.

If this is Randy Crenshaw, get serious & quit using the black community's shortcomings for your own fake-ass self-promotion. Typical all talk & no ACTION.

Most parents think they are parenting by letting their children run the house. They get handed everything cell phones,Daddy's credit card. Dont have to work for anything. Sleep all day run the streets all night. When will parents stand up and be parents rather then living their childhood drems through their children.
A parent who does no take their children to church and bring them up in aa loving environment is a shame in Gods eyes.

This is not Bishop Randy Crenshaw! Please don't use this forum to express how you feel about an individual, especially if you must use the individual's name! We have some serious problems in our community; we must start somewhere in order to solve these problems!

Maybe BPD needs to read topix & interview some "persons of interest" AKA THE USUAL SUSPECTS.

Convicted and overturned after several years in prison. He was found innocent at the third retrial. Personally I still think he might have done it. His family was very wealthy and ended up losing everything to get him out. They no longer live around here.

There is no truth in this case except for the fact June was butchered by a psycho. As far as I know they have never found anyone else that could have been involved.
