You have some people making decent money there, I think they are getting by with paying less for more work instead of paying fair wages to its employees. But with new opportunities on the horizon I suspect half of its workforce bail out on them and head to big river steel or other companies with better pay and bonuses and benefits. A lot of people are there just because its a way to justify their needs for living. I seldom hear of anyone taking pride in working there. Good Luck.

I have to agree. It's a job. It's a paycheck. We do have some of the better insurance in our area. That means a lot now days. But the environment isn't the greatest. The morale is almost nil. But when you are continually lied to and treated the way you are, that's not surprising. I think the upper management needs to understand that the employees of a company are their greatest assets. They don't understand that concept. But if you can get past that, you can pay your bills at least.

tenaris doesn't give a rats azz abt their employees. If you don't bow down to them, u will be fired and they will hire someone else making $11 an hour to replace you. When I heard abt the guy who stood up to the HR guy, it was almost enough to make me quit. They took a dollar of his pay and made him go in front of the big bosses and apologize! Just for telling them that more money will bring in better people. I guess they showed him, took a dollar of his pay! I couldn't have done it, they would've had to fire me! This is America! we have freedom of speech here! In the next monthly meeting we should ALL stand up and ask the same question that he asked

No degree but very driven employee. I make more than enough to get by. Management has issues but the company as a whole is a great place to work an/or retire from. They want the best, if you do not comply they will not pay.

It sucks out there, plain and simple. If you work in an office then i'm sure u love YOUR job. If you're a regular worker then you will make enough to get by if you can manage to follow their 10,000 rules. You can walk from your car to the building and break 25 rules right there. If there is a lazy person, they will put them on a lazy job, if there's a guy that works then they will work him to death. The supervisors are scared of a lot of them too and let those people get away with everything while making others walk the line. They have people hired to watch these kinds of websites and facebook to do damage control if someone speaks the truth so i'm sure they'll be right behind me, praising the place. But we know the truth, and the smart ones that quit know the truth too
