She needs to pay her FINES. If she is locked up chances are she has had many failures to appear and did not make payments.
So---they keep her and give her $ credit for days served and we pay for her meals, bed, and anything she needs plus we pay the salary of the guards that have to bring their food and protect them, and even medical care.

She's 19, has 2 cildren, and doesn't respect the laws put upon us. Sounds like she needs more than just money.

Dont do the crime if you can't do the time or pay the fine. Two kids at 19 years old?She has been out of control for a while.

If she is sitting in there then she is getting 40 dollars a day taken off the fine. It will start the day she is sentenced so just count it down. ive been there before and if you are "thrown in the hole" as you say then she did something to a guard or inmate to get there. I don't know about the male guards but all the female ones are pretty nice and don't do mean things unless the inmate is being as a$$ to them. Tell her to grow up, sit it out and then act right when she gets out and take responsibility for your actions. My parents could of came and got me for just 50 bucks but I sat there for 15 days.. It taught me a valuable lesson, hopefully she will learn one too.. Good luck to you and your grand daughter
