Article says BGRAA was able to announce a profit of $160,000.00
Only expected to have a profit of $8,000.00.
Then it's mentioned in Courier article that there were "various" GRANTS recieved, and a $50,000.00 recovery of STOLEN copper. Roughly BGRAA had a profit of 20 times what they expected.
GRANTS ARE PROFITS??
Where did they recover the Stolen copper?
Who took the Stolen copper?
Why weren't charges filed for someone or someones stealing $50,000.00 of copper that did not belong to them?
Try stealing $50,000.00 dollars worth of anything that belongs to a Council person, the Mayor, Mosley,Law Officials, Judges, etc and see what happens to you.
Why wasn't this reported and who was involved?-Sounds a bit like the meter thieves deal.

If they recovered stolen copper. Doesn't that mean they know who stole it? Why wasn't this individual or individuals arrested? If insurance paid for it and than they recovered it that is not a profit that is fraud.

Is this just another Barry fantasy? I thought the BGRAA was sweating the budget not too long ago. Oh... Full public accountability would be nice since the stupid dirt plot belongs to the city...

The copper thieves hit a bonanza on the base property over the years. The story is that they completely stripped out the old alert facility 5 or 6 years ago. $50,000 would not even touch that...more like $250,000.

Economic Development GIVES A.R.T millions of free money.

A.R.T. then "rents" buildings from BGRAA

Just more squandering of our tax dollars to provide an elaborate pay check for a few and low wages and no medical coverage for the workers whose withholding taxes and the taxes of the working people pay for the whole ripp off.
No wonder these leaders want to tax the people more to cover for the thieves-afraid their names will come out for being one of the RECIPIENTS then we can see how dirty all of them are.. All crooks!
