Tenaris is in the final stages of selling the company located in Armorel Ar. This is why so many lay-offs and firings are taking place. Just a year ago they were hiring 20-30 people every 2 weeks. Now you are laying off 20-30 per shift/crew daily. Tenaris is only harming it's brand and name. They can't possibly expect any quality employee to value their job or put forth any effort with the notion of being fired or laid off coming any day now. But looking for potential buyers explains a lot of the shake up going on. Good luck Tenaris in the future. Back to the days of prisoners working for 4.15 a hour.

Hmm let's just say after 18 holes of great golf and a couple of drinks things come to light. The writing is on the wall. Are you reading it? This is all a numbers game. Next week watch the tenured supervisors and coordinators get shuffled around. A couple were brought up in meetings as filter pieces "basically useless" positions.

Just so you kno..no once is being layed off..they are firing people who have too many points ...when we hired in we were told we could only get 5 points in a years time and the purple who have been fired have more than 5...and people who have been there for less than 90 days..its right after rex out there and this time of year sales are slow..this if not uncommon for this time of year but out is a lil more harsh this year..but no one has ben layed off there just isn't any reason to have that many people working there if we aren't making the money right now to pay them and still make a profit..

did he have points? Write ups? Or did he fail a drug test? How long was he employed through the company? I'm just curious. I know a few ppl who want to be layed off and it sucks that ppl that don't are the ones getting walked to the door. I wish they would go around and ask so the ppl who want to be there can stay.

no points, write ups or failed drug test just misfortune of being under ninety days. But you would have thought all of the above had been done when HR told 'em, just like was worthless piece of flesh sitting before them no I am sorry or you will be called back or nothing.Just get out! Other places that have worked have had lay offs but they ask for volunteers before starting to do the forced lay offs.
lay me off plz

It's spelled wrecks; as in collision. lol
No really, its a day long maintenance day. This is where maintenance stands around and watches contractors doing their jobs! As in most days.

I had to comment on this. LOL. Untrue, investments stop when companies are being sold. Contractors will be first to go. This is such a stupid, ignorant, statement.
