Why? If you make a comment like that about someone's business you should at least explain your comment

Your kids would not do good there because they teach manners. Your kids would have no idea of what was going on.

A little girl (16 mo) got bit 3 times in 2 hours on her FIRST day! Something is wrong here. Her mom took her out immediately. Cindy (owner) plays favorites with her friend's kids. As long as it's one of her friend's kids, they can bite all day long, and Cindy will make excuses for them. I'm sorry, but even if I had a "poor" child, I would not want them mistreated OR treated differently because of the kids of Cindy's friends.

I agree with "biting" completely! I had an incident with my child there several years ago. I would NEVER take another child to that daycare. It was a great place years ago but not anymore!!!!

so LPLC is responsible for children that bite? Hmmmm....I hope your child never smacks another child or bites another child less karma bites you, lol. I don't have any kids that go there, but I do work with kids and that's the parenting of that child, not the fault of teachers or employees. There is of course, always the possibility that the child that got bit did something to cause the biting. Maybe retaliation, kinda like women do when they don't get their way? Lot of possibilities here. If you're not happy, take your kid someone else, be a grown up, and stop playing misery loves company. If you're old enough to have kids, you're too old to play this game. I'm just saying...

I guess its their fault that your kid is biting everybody.

Did you read what I wrote? The parent DID take the child out of Little People, within the first two hours. And apparently you know nothing of child psychology. Parents don't teach kids to bite, they see other kids bite and start doing the same thing. People who herd children like animals should not own a daycare. I'm just sayin...

I don't think I've known a single child in my entire life that hasn't biten or hit another child or adult. Parents have to discipline them at home. Daycares don't line these kids up and let them bite each other...ridiculous...

When a kid gets bit the daycare should do something about it. It should not happen two more times. If the same kid is biting more than once, then the daycare has to take some kind of action. It is the parents responsibility to do something about their child biting, but most will not unless they are inconvenienced in someway. The daycare should call the parents to pickup the biting child.

My son bites he's only 6 months old so what I have to spank him lmao daycare all together is not a great place for children who can't talk yet my opinion. You never know if a teacher drops the child & covers it up or smacks the child I don't trust anyone with my child only my mom.

They have cameras and you can view your child at anytime on the internet...I've walked in unannounced for many years and never had a problem

My child went there for 2 years and once he got to the toddler room, he was bitten several times. One week it was 4 times (2 times in the SAME DAY). Once he had enough and bit a child back and I got a note saying I needed to talk to him about it (he was 2) and that if it happened again he would be sent home. I was also told on the day it happened TWICE that it was his fault, he took a toy from another child... What about the boy (and yes it was the same kid over and over again) who kept biting him? NOTHING was ever done about that. And yes, they have cameras, but when you watch your child doing things that are unsafe while the 'teachers' are huddled in the corner chatting it up, what good are they? It's sad that you have to call them and ask that they please stop your child from dangerous behavior because they are too busy talking. I wouldn't recommend the daycare to anyone. Before some of the old workers left, it was a good place, at least the baby room, but the 'good' teachers are mostly gone and I think the owner is in it for all the wrong reasons.

And some of you are right, discipline does begin and end at home. However, if you aren't teaching your child how to act at home, why should others suffer because of it? If a child is a repeat biter, they should not be allowed to return. all they are doing it teaching the other children that if they have a conflict or don't get their way, then by all means BITE the SH** out of someone!! it broke the skin THROUGH his shirt before they decided to call the other childs mom.

It's sad. We really need GOOD daycares and there are not enough of them
