Shut down? We are about to have some PM shut downs that last about two or three weeks in duration, but that's it. I'm working through the shutdown. Most are taking vacation. Over all, production is high and business is good.

It isn't a layoff. They are installing some new lines and repairing other machinery. Mosst people took their vacation and some are working through the shutdown.

Is the shut down over at Tenaris? Can you apply at company or through a service?

Go somewhere else....just sayin'
There are a lot of people who would love to have your job and the benefits that go along with it--401(k), insurance, etc. It must not be too bad if you have been there 15 years! What's up with that? Sounds like you are being a little ungrateful. And what is this "volt union?" Do you mean "vote?" Go to Missouri if you want UNION!!!

Excuse me, but I don't know if anyone can make any sense out of anything you said. What test did you take to get on there--stacking the blocks or what? I hope your letter to the union people is composed by someone besides you...and I am from Arkansas, thank you kindly...

. I can't make sense out of the boys rumblings either, I think that he wants to have the union close down another factory and send these jobs to Brazil. I can't say much for his logic, but at least he has a plan.

I hope not. That is a long way for him to drive to work. People have too much time on their hands and are just whine bags.

. He has good intentions, he wants Mississippi county to be number one in cotton production again. If he can get all these darn factories closed, we can tear down the plants and have additional farmland. I hope he doesnt unionize the farmers, I would hate to see those jobs sent overseas also.

they have you sign a code of conduct and the top management can do and treat employees any way they wish. I know about getting the time off for showing the notice on the box for being concerned about cancer. I also heard yesterday about 3 employees being fired for lockout policy when over 1000 employees heard the story and saw the film and the employee that did it took the mike and told his story. But yet he was not fired. laying across a conveyor cleaning a light or sensor. This kind of attitude and actions is why unions were formed years ago. You are at there mercie no matter
what did or did not happen.

last night on kait was a interview where an employee had charged a high end boss with taking over 60.000 in fees that was not done. Also reporting items listed that come under the same laws they broke and was fined over 9 million by the SEC. Tenaris Gods, it sounds like some americans
do have common sence.

There you go...and bless your heart...the guy from Arkansas should have used his Aetna insurance from Tenaris and had his teeth fixed... By the way, if you write the union people, use the word sitting. Hens set. Just thought you might want to know...and you are very welcome...
