On Tuesday, November 15, a Little Rock grand jury handed down indictments against five people from Northeast Arkansas on drug distribution and firearm charges.
Richard Anderson of Jonesboro and Bridgette Diane Crosswell of Gosnell were indicted in a drug conspiracy involving methamphetamine. They face a maximum penalty of 5-40 years in prison, a $5 million fine or both.
Crosswell was also charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and possessing a pistol in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. If convicted she could be sentenced to 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine or both.
The grand jury also indicted Michael Dority of Jonesboro on two counts of distribution of cocaine and one count of possession with the intent to distribute approximately 44 grams of crack cocaine.
Arthur "Ray Ray" Osborn of Jonesboro is charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute 3.4 ounces of crack cocaine and one count of possession with the intent to distribute approximately 86 ecstasy tablets.
Brian Collins of Blytheville was also charged with possession with the intent to distribute 1.85 ounces of crack cocaine.
The maximum statutory penalty for possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine is no less than five years imprisonment and no more than 40 years, a $5 million fine, or both.
The indictments follow a joint investigation by the Jonesboro, Blytheville and Osceola Police Departments, deputies from the Mississippi County Sheriff's Office, and agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the 2nd Judicial District Drug Task Force.
