Right or Wrong

if Maverick had still owned it then the ones who had been there so long would still be there and the foreign people and the ones who have only been there two years or less would be the ones unemployed. The girl in the traffic office who had only been there a short time would be off and the ones with more seniority would still have a job. The mgr. back there is really worried about his job or at least he should be.

If it would have still been Maverick, the good ole boy system would have been largely in play. Don't get me wrong it still is but not as up in your face as it was when Maverick was in charge. Also, no one deserves to lose their job and it is tough on everyone right now.

And whats really screwed up is the fact I'm not playing on peoples emotion. I do fend for myself, my children and anyone else that needs help. It really amazes me that I got on here, basically feeling to see if anyone else had this problem and what I get is crap from someone that does not give me answers, assumes (although we all know what happens when you assume) and basically judges when apparently you dont know what you are talking about. 21.43 was coming out of his check every week for insurance for us. Now we have no insurance. If I wanted to play on sympathies dont you think I would name myself. So why dont you just take yourself off your pedestal, actually read a post with an open mind and dont judge lest you be judged. Thank you.
If your husband did have all of you insured while employed, all you need to do is call the HR office. They can tell you whether he had coverage and how much he should be getting for the cobra coverage. All it takes is a phone call!

The stimulus package just passed will pay 65% of the cobra insurance cost.

Right now, most people working for medium and large employers can continue their coverage for 18 months under the COBRA program when they lose their job. It's expensive, often over $1,000 a month, because they pay the share of premiums once covered by their employer as well as their own share from the old group plan.

Under the stimulus package, the government will pick up 65 percent of the total cost of that premium for the first nine months.

There are so many rumors out there, example
People are being laid off Monday
They are working 2 weeks on 2 weeks off
The Russians are trying to buy Tenaris
The people who are being laid of will not recieve a severance packet
Monday they are closing the place down for good
So for the ones who have to go to work on Monday, just show up and see what happens.
No one knows for sure but the higher ups and they are not saying.
These are hard times right now and there is no need for the added rumor bs that is going on.

I don't have any sources. I was just quoting the things that I have heard and other ones have as well. There is nothing concrete. Everyone need to take it one day at a time.

1st off I wasn't making rumors I was not understanding where Aut. got that information and now that she explained I'm fine.

I am not here to cause trouble I'm like all of you trying to figure out what the hell is going on.
