and I'm not talking about "pot".
BPD, Mayor, detectives......I have a list of phone numbers..from a relative's cell phone records.
I've tried everything else to make it easy for yall... including names, addresses, meeting places and concern for an elderly woman. You're probably not interested in this either! Otherwise, YOU would have this list YOURSELVES and would've already ACTED on it!
Shame!

What are they going to do.......arrest the phone? How about taking the phone to the police department and maybe one of them will explain "probable cause" to you.

Okay, you expended the effort to put it on Topix to put a bad name on police department -- but if you've "tried everything else" did you bother to walk into the police department? Duh!

Would someone be so kind as to get the names of the people who keep breaking into our homes! I'm sick of leaving my home and wondering if my property will be there when I get back.

They pick up people who break the law...not who they want. You sound upset because they didn't drop what they were doing to go run down a dead beat that you had children with, who refuses to pay his child support.

As an Average Joe I just want to review this. You got a relatives phone records and it shows that they called someone right. And this phone call record is suppose to be enough proof that someone related to you is dealing in drugs. Seems to me like the only thing that would prove is who your relative called. I hope the police would want more than that to go arrest people on cause I don't want to be related to you! Good job police for being professional.

"I've tried everything else to make it easy for yall... including names, addresses, meeting places and concern for an elderly woman. You're probably not interested in this..."

Sounds like this person is trying to help an elderly woman who may be in a situation where
drug use is taking place. Maybe a family member
who needs help.

I think you're giving this person more credit than they deserve. Taking care of our elderly family members is the responsibility of the family through programs like the agency for aging, social security benefits, getting power of attorney for them etc. If drugs are a problem for this elderly person help them get out of the situation not blame the cops for the dealers and users.

Maybe this person should report abuse of an elderly person, if this is the case. Sounds as if he/she has tried to help but now does not know where to turn. We don't know all the facts so should not be so quick to criticize.

Well your right on one account all we know is that they posted something quite stupid on here blasting local police. Your assumption that "sounds as if he/she has tried to help" is quite a leap of faith in assuming that this person has actually done anything beyond posting something quite stupid on here blasting local police.

Want proof that the original posters intentions is not to help this elderly person. READ THE TITLE "BPD! Want phone #s of drug sellers & users?" Now I might see your point of view if the original title said "Need help with an Elderly relative" or "Can anyone help me with an Elderly relative", then go on to post the situation. No this persons intentions were exactly as they wrote it to blame and critize local police for their family's situation. Bet if you start digging deep into their family tree, you will find a history of substance abuse, or physical abuse, or a whole host of other criminal or immoral acts. INTERRESTING IT IS A RELATIVE putting this elderly in danger anybody want bet if it's all in the family. Blame your local police for your family's problems what's that old saying about pointing a finger there are three more pointing back.
