Yeah we need a new mayor and police chief and city council. Citizens stand up and fix your city, just a click away at the polls.

I was reading that on kait website and it made me feel physically ill. He talks a good game but then nothing gets done. A lot would change if city employees were forced to do their job. No need for all of these tax increases!

Why believe or listen to anything they lie about? That's all that comes from their mouths. The big H and Mosley robbed this town and smiled and took all but some of the asphalt. If records were checked you would find lots of asphalt , just like concrete, was paid for through purchase orders and wasn't used to repair our streets. Some people got drive ways done. He and the council are corrupt. At the kids fishing rodeo did you notice all the poop all over the walkways. Isn't it wonderful people must wear boots to wade through the poop. These excuses of management are a disgrace.
Take all the foul fowl to the golf course. Where these creeps are using sick people to make money off of.

Blytheville will not see a population increase. If anything the population will continue to decline.

Since they only do an actual census count once every 10 years and the last one was in 2010 so the 2017 number is an estimate.

The current generation of citizens are fighting to correct the mistakes of the past generation.

Voting to fight crime instead of voting to build an over bloated golf course.

Taking on actual issues by passing ordinances aimed to get rid of nusiances.

The entire state of Arkansas and national Business community is seeing the growth and progress Blytheville is making.

The fight is against those few citizens who live in Blytheville that would rather cast stones, complain, tear down instead of build up, living in the denial of progress, love talking down and criticize everything.

The past 10 years has been better than the previous 10 years and the next 10 years is projected to be better than the past 10 years.

Those are facts. Some will reject them, some will fight the progress for personal reasons and gain but in the end they will have to live with them.

You make it sound wonderful, but the fact remains that Blytheville's population will continue to decline.

Population growth isn't always a determination used to measure success of a city.

A large portion of Forrest City's population is locked in a state penetentary. Increase the incarceration rate and their population increases.

Median income and better job opportunity can occur in a town regardless of what the population does.

But in Blytheville success is measured by newer Section 8 Housing and more food stamps and welfare.

The city allowed their police station to become dilapidated and were forced to evacuate it for safety reason, raise taxes, and move to a new building. And now the Mayor uses it as propaganda as an accomplishment.

We allowed it to fall in. We knew it was a shthole for 40 years. Why didn't we vote to fix the old one or build a new one instead of a golf course.

Heads up their drawing up plans to build a new animal control facility to get away from the HS and their bs. That property is city property and no one will tell HS to leave. Folks their blowing your tax dollars, go to the polls and make a change to save Blytheville.

At the time everyone was happy with the old building. "If it works don't replace it" attitude and not thinking of the future. Now look what kind of mess the citizens created and they have the nerve to complain.

"WE" didn't allow it. The CITY allowed it.

It's the city that determines what gets on a ballot
It's the city who makes spending priorities.

When the grub bets got their hands on the money, that was the end of repairs. Take a look at your city streets. Sad.

Did you vote yes or no on the city budget?
How about on sky cop? Or on buying a new suv for the mayor?

How did you vote on settling the jail fees with the county?
